    40 +5 miles in 6h15m.
Cracking day for it, first proper big ride for me since back surgery last year.

If you missed the second loop, you missed the ‘highlight’ of riding up transmission! 🙂

I cramped hard on one of the climbs on loop 3 and had to walk a good way to loosen it off.

Saturday night drinking in no way helped.

    Good fun.

I’m a hope fan, been on evry bike ive had for years. Minis, M4’s, X2’s, M4/X2 combo and E4’s on my last 2. New bike has Codes on them. Was pretty sure I was going to swap them out for E4’s, but a fortnight in Finale has persuaded me otherwise. Appeared to have more stopping power and less tiring on the fingers.
Still love hope stuff, but I’ll be sticking with Codes for now.

My back issues started in 2016. I had Physio, painkillers and a lot of time off sick.

At the worst point I was catheterised, a good day was washing my own feet.

    MRI showed 2 prolapsed discs

I had an xray guided injection (approx 12 months later) which worked an absolute charm for 48 hours, then nothing.

Just over 12 months ago I had surgery. It was like someone flicking a switch, the pain was gone and now I’m back on my bike.

Thats not to say it wont work for you, but in my case it did nowt.

I may have misled you with the wyclef bit.

I guessed the answer without knowing the artist. When I googled it wyclef came up.

So yes it is on the list, but under ‘I’ and a shortened version.

    Sorry 🙂

Why not use tubless schrader valves?

I coulndt get a seal when I used a conversion bung.

Used proper valve – no issue.

    I’m in a similar situation.

I had a quote for myself with eldest on a suzuki ignis.

£390 TPF&T for me with him named, or £500 with it in his name, his car and me as a named.

That was just through a comparison site. I was expecting it to be an awful lot higher.

I heard that the Marie of Seez has banned bikes, that means Double header might be no go this year. It’s a shame but there’s no global policy for bikes so Mayor’s can clamp down e.g Chamonix valley.

This happened last year. Didnt really change much for our week, but meant we couldnt ride million switchbacks – one of my faves.

I also got a letter yesterday, along with an email and a pdf copy of the letter!

MrsLugz has being doing some digging, and according to some success stories on Money Saving Expert, there may be a way to claim back any additional expenses incurred, such as flights and accomodation.

Not sure what we are going to do yet, been with Whiteroom for the last 3 years and had an awesome time, but we’re proper tight for cash this year…

Stole a handful of tampons from a supermarket when I was very young.

    Box had split and spilled.

    I thought they were sweets.

Similar thing happened to me last year.
I rang the 3rd partys insurance company direct, they contacted the 3rd party.

Fortunately they admitted liability and my claim was settled within a month. All I needed to provide was an estimate from my LBS.

The insurance company seemed to always mention an injury claim, even after repeatedly telling them I was uninjured apart from a whack to the old man on the stem.

I called 101, but they werent too interested as i wasnt really hurt.

Seen this on fb a little while back. Figured it would be an inroad into getting some short cranks for minilugz. My good lady received a negative response from hope.

Wish this had been around a couple of years back 🙂

    Great scheme!

I bought an UUNI 2S because of a thread on here 🙂

The new one looks a bit spendy for essentially a slightly larger version. I do think the gas adapter is a good idea, could make it usable indoors?

Top tip – Ikea blue bags are the perfect size for carrying it. I made a couple of pouches for the stone and chimney. all fits in lovely.

I havent used anything other than their own brand chips. They may be a lot dearer than the biomass ones, but id rather not take a chance with unknown particulates that may or may not be in heating pellets.

    Another happy BT8500 user here.
Since we bought it we have had precisely 0 unwanted calls.

It works a bit like a personal answering service. The phone does all the screening, nothing to do with your line.

Bit of a cock on for callers who aren’t in your phone book (whitelist), but as far as I am concerned its been the best thing Ive ever bought.
