well, there was an artist who took a load of cash from the new york coffers to create a memorable piece in central park – he claims to have constructed a massive sculpture and buried it underground in the park! no one knows where, or if he even did! i suppose it would blend in nicely at least 😉

i’ve never really got on with the Punk IPA – but the Hardcore IPA is totally different. i found the punk to just taste like a really unrefined strong beer – just a horrible syrupy flavour. lots of people would disagree though i’m sure!

brewdog hardcore IPA is great. very strong, but with a slight flavour of lychees (?). not the cheapest, but taaaasty!

ah, well ignore my earlier post. sounds like you need to tweak the cable on the front mech to push the chain a little further – have you tried winding out the barrel adjuster on the shifter?

i’m going to be all crazy and controversial and that and suggest it may be the bottom screw on the front mech and the point at which the chain gets shifted down to smaller rings

i’ve found that if you set the front mech so it only just nudges the chain down, maybe with a bit of rubbing before it drops, it is more liekly to chainsuck. try setting it so it’s a clean push down. (i hope that makes sense!)

i’m disappointed. i thought this was going to be about ODI breaking in to the cricket bat grip market with some kind of lock-on system.

i remember back when i used to race dh (a very long time ago) i used to run my levers horizontal just like rob warner – it kinda worked too! i got top 20 out of 120 on my last ever race way back in 1998 🙂

(and if that isn’t all the anecdotal evidence you’ll need then i give up! 😆 )

i’ve heard this ‘work out where your wrists are and then position brake levers accordingly’ nonsense theory before – as far as i am concerned, the angle of your brake levers dictates wrist position, not the other way around.
