No DIRT or Singletrack for me yet in West Fife.

No forms here that i’m aware of. A supplier is sending through a Nintendo DSi. Will ask about within the company.

Think about rehoming a retired greyhound. They like short quick runs, but are just as happy snoozing in their beds during the day. Even a greyhound should have more exercise than you have posted above. I have a greyound x bedlington and she gets 30 mins in the morning, 30 at lunch and at least 30 mins in the evening during weekdays. She is also happy walking for 2-3 hours on Saturday and Sunday, although non-lurchers might not be up for walks that long.

Cheers flatfish. Gives me a lot more confidence as it looked like the Navara Double Cab had the shortest bed. I don’t mind taking the front wheel off if i have to.

Thanks. I’m still torn between the Navara, Hilux and the Ranger even after test drives.

Brilliant photo Captain! How do you find the Navara double cabs for bikes? I looked at one the other day but thought I might have to go for the kingcab as the back seems quite short.

The dogs are wire haired lurchers, so have coats but not thick ones. I’m not so worried about spring to autumn, more winter. I guess it will just be a case of sticking them in the cab for long journeys and in the bed on local trips.

Lotus Talbot Sunbeam. The original hot hatch. I would love one, but they are getting quite expensive for a decent one.

    Also on the Lotus theme:

What size of laptops? I’ve got two 14″ laptops. I have a crumpler shoulder bag and an Ogio rucksack. I have sleeves for each laptop and stick them in beside each other. Obviously not ideal if you are carrying around 17″ers.

Weight with mine is not an issue.

Catching up on some studying while writing a project handover, before moving onto my next fun filled task of this week. Oh and rebuilding my laptop, drinking some coke, thinking about biking this weekend and sorting out the companies telephony during a BT outage. Who says men can’t multi-task?

If you can get there! Always puts me off paying deposits for that time of year in case the weathers pretty bad and the snow gates are closed.

Nothing ventured nothing gained I suppose.

    Sorry not very helpful

Might be best to leave the path at Seal Bay rather than Elie. Nicer cycle into Conneuchar and up to the Kilconquar estate IMO.

At least they can console themselves that they're riding the bus for free.

Exactly, they should think themselves lucky they're not on the roof!

It depends on where the cable runs from and to, how it is terminated, how much interference is likely to be experienced on the run – will the cabling be bundled running above/below multiple rooms?

Because you are using Q.931, the quality of the link is really important. Q.931 doesn't re-transmit and there is no flow control.

Cat6 should be fine for 2-300 metres, but in my opinion you want to make it as short as possible.

Also check the sortcode/acc number used for the money transfer to Nationwide. When someone transfers money to some of my Nationwide accounts they have to transfer it to a group sortcode and account number with the actual account number as the transaction reference. Nationwide then have to transfer the funds to the specific account. Just wondering if he has given you his specific account details and Nationwide have not correctly handled the transfer.

Ours springer sleeps in a cage – he loves it and goes in radomly when he gets spooked. its like a small cave all covered over for him.

Thats what the trainer said. It shouldn't be used as a punishment, but should be seen as her own space where she can feel safe.

The reason is to reassert the her place in the household. She has been used to getting her own way when it comes to everyday life. She is petted, usually gets her food before my wife and I and is generally treated like a kid rather than a dog.

Don't get me wrong, she is obedient round the house, but you can tell from behaviour outside when we are on walks with barking at other dogs and running up to dogs before they get to us to defend.

She is also used to being up on "her" sofa.

It was a shit thing for anyone to do and you didn't deserve it, but as per my post in that thread it was really unprofessional. Although you seem to have taken that on board already.

STW middle class pedantry on lock on mode. He lives in whats classed as a lower end neighbourhood, therefore he must be a scum of the earth low life thief.

I would give the guy the benefit of the doubt for a week. If no response then involve your local police and give them all the details you have for them to send it to the police local to that address. A chap on the door by the local police might be enough to kick him into action or refund the money if he has received it.

From what my Dad tells me, pheasants area a bugger to pluck unless you hang them first.

Does that make you a pheasant pluckers son?

If your lurcher did catch one what condition would it be in? Might be like eating the left overs of a dog's dinner….

She would drop it if I told her.

    Isn't hunting with dogs illegal?

Not in Scotland I don't think. Only England and Wales.

If you've got breakdown cover then call them out just after it happens and see if they can read the code. I did this when my Passat kept going into limp mode and they (local garage via green flag) managed to retrieve the code and diagnose. Might be worth a shot as won't cost you anything.

    Hi,

From what you've said so far, the siuation sounds quite sh*t. I work in Glasgow and the company I work for has a contract with a company you may work for. I've been the customer on the end of the tight SLA's so can understand the expectations that are set on your behalf.

I work tier 2/3 in a similar support environment and between work and a long commute I had to re-adjust work/life . I am moving to a new job soon with better pay, working hours and a company that values life outside of work (i hope).

Your wage is extremely poor for the job/level you have described and has obviously not been benchmarked in 10+ years.

I would brush up your C.V. I've used Lee at The CV Store[/url]a few times in the past and have never failed to get an interview. There are plenty of jobs in Glasgow for your field, but you may need to adjust the roles you are looking for, especially to reduce stress. Look for jobs working directly for a company onsite rather than a support provider. You will be valued more and don't have the stress of worrying about expectations as much.

I know a lot of people in the Glasgow area who I can ask to keep a look out. Not recruitment agents, but staff working in established companies who have strong IT teams.

My email is in my profile. Give me a shout if you want to chat about it of even meet up for a pint in the town to talk anything through.

Tentsmuir beech is worth a visit as well. Nice walks in the forest, big sandy beach and a seal colony.
