Ordered from them last night for the first time. Cheaper than CRC for some X9 stuff I need. Emailed me today to say items despatched. So far so good.

Vegas for me. Think the ceremony cost $500 including photographs and limo. They beam the ceremony live via web to friends back home if you want them too. On to San Francisco for honeymoon.

I got a cane creek forty in mine. Good headset. Bought from Ibis themselves. There’s a shop on the US Ibis website.

    Here.. http://store.ibiscycles.com/15-tapered-mojo-hd-headset-p143.aspx

Extra £10 for the conversion race to fit non tapered.

The Red House near Lilleshall is decent for dinner.

    http://www.redhouselilleshall.co.uk/

Usual pub menu but home cooked, not ready meals like the chain pubs and cheap too with a family area.

A few miles further up the road from there is Newport. Small market town. Sure there’s a nice cafe there, but haven’t been for ages. Forget Telford town centre.

Oldqwegg, mine are 170mm and come with an XT BB, also brand new. £65 seems very cheap. Like you say, arms are going for £50 and have you seen the price of new rings?!

I have some 2012 XT cranks for sale, with brand new chain rings. I used the crank arms with a renthal. Nothing has been filed either! See here for photo. Mail me with an offer if interested.

HD 140 here. Best bike i’ve ever had. Much nicer than the 2012 Remedy 9.8 it replaced. Incredibly versatile too.

For those interested, the military pension was changed (for the worse) in 2005. It changes again (even worse) in April 2015. What little details and examples that have been published so far makes for grim reading. A few friends I served with are now police officers and the pension pro’s and con’s aren’t really comparable. There’s quite a few differences between the schemes.

I did mine a few years ago skiing. The ski dug in, binding didn’t release and I ended up twisting over in a heap at a fair speed. When I put my hand on my knee I could feel my knee cap had moved round to the side and couldnt bend my leg. I ended up having to get a chopper off the hill to hospital. Fortunately Austrian ski resort docs are pretty useful with lower leg injuries and it was popped back in. I was in plaster for two months and couldn’t straighten my leg properly for three. Don’t skimp on the physio. I foolishly did and my knee still hurts years later.

Get on the Perton Parkway (2 mile circular) and look for the signs to either Perton centre or the library. Sainsbury’s is right in the middle of the Pertonian Republic, near the lake. There’s a car wash but no jet wash.

I’m Perton and the few that used to be near me on garage forecourts have been removed. Had to buy a dirtworker.

Also running an xtr mech and xt cassette (10sp, but single ring up front) on my HD and mines very similar though not quite as bad. It’s a common issue and there’s lots written about it on the ibis section at mtbr.

Anyone know how to go about changing rider details on this? I cant make it and a friend is now attending in my place (part of a team of four). I’ve sent four emails and telephoned a few times over the last week and not had any reply at all.

Thanks Oscillate. I would ditch it, but MRP only do two guides for the Mojo the other being a G2 which also has a lower roller. Both are specific Mojo models, BB mounted and adapted to screw into the lower suspension linkage to stop the guide spinning if bashed hard. The mojo doesn’t have iscg mounts.

I preferred black with the little Brian Lopes badge on it than the white G2. Agree about the XTR clutch. Was tested thoroughly at the PPDS last week!

Another quick question for those in the know, I’m responsible for sorting entry for two friends and myself. Will I be able to register all three places at once when registration opens, or will I have to do it individually for each rider?
