i had the same problem with my hfx9s – i just let a bit of fluid out. just unscrew the beeld nipple and force the pads in, and a bit of fluid will dribble out.

    should sort it.

if not your pads are faaaaaaaar too wide

ive been chased by dogs quite a few times ont bike – most of them were collies come to think about it! all i do (if ive got time) is jump off and whip the seat/seatpost out – raise it threateningly and shout. 99% buggered off at this point but evry so often you get one determined sod that gets a good whack.

if the owners get arsey then they can get bent – should keep nasty dogs on a lead, its simple as that.

i love dogs too – but ive got no probs with protecting myself against them

i had a pair of their alu bars – good quality and good price, i liked them apart from the bend/sweep didnt suit me that much

tomato soup with some salt after the ride, and pleanty of council pop to wash it down.

but i make me own drink which is

half litre water , half litre fresh orange/apple juice and 1/4 tbsp of salt – 1/4 tbsp of sugar. job done

my MK’s were dog sh1t – i’d recommend aything by wtd (currently using motoraptors = very good), or maxxis advantage, or specialized enduro pro tyres were very good too.

im a peak district rider by the way – so gives you an idea of terrain im used to
