    But if 2×0=0
through a little rearranging this would mean 0/0=2

    6×0=0
through a little rearranging this would mean 0/0=6

Therefore does 6=2? Or a million variations there-of?

    Just wondering? 😉

    Much as above.

Pauls cycles can be good if you don’t mind the year.

    For example http://paulscycles.co.uk/products.php?plid=m1b0s1p3493

With enough money left over to upgrade some bits if you see fit.

Apologies – used to arguing these points with builders/colleagues/Building control so tend to get hung up on the smallest things. 😳

You only need an AAV on an ‘unvented’ branch. At least one soil pipe needs to vent to external air. Either way the pipework itself can run internally.

I would imagine its boxed in against the chimney??

    mrben100

As long as boxed in and insulated against sound – just need to vent minimum 900mm above any opening within 3000mm horizontally. i.e. ridge vent tile or similar.

May also be worth looking into party wall issues with your adjoining neighbour as garages count.

Likely to be a single skin wall (100mm blockwork?) separating the 2 garages, but your new external wall will be wider therefore eating into you master bedroom slightly.

Floor between garage and new bedroom over will need 60 mins compartmentation as now integral. WOuld be addressed at Building Regs.

As above though a decent architect should be able to advise accordingly, some even give a free consultation.

For fear of being flamed – there is a difference between a dog ‘coping’ all day and having a ‘happy/healthy’ day.

For the people who are out all day – how do you know that they sleep all day?

(playing a bit of devils advocate 😉 )

Its also to give the dog some stimulus as well as the exercise – a bored dog can be a destructive dog.

EDIT: beaten to it by jam bo.

We’ve had a new pup for the last 5 months.

I worked all day – the OH works from home but is out on site for 3no. mornings a week, but back by lunch.

I suppose it depends on how old the dog is – if older might be ok, used to work with a couple who wnet home every lunch to let the dogs out for exercise and toilet etc. then came back to work for the afternoon and they seemed happy enough.

IMHO though I wouldn’t have got the dog if were going to be leaving it for 8+ hours a day. Especially as the breeds you mention are likely to need a fair amount of exercise.

That whole roundabout debate makes my blood boil. Unless indicated otherwise (road markings/ signs etc) letf hand lane for left and straight over – right hand lane for turning right.

Drive to Ely every day to work (but from Newmarket direction) and encounter this everyday – especially if you know the Burger King Roundabout in Newmarket.

    I do what bunnyhop says.

As soon as I need soemthing I ask Mrs B.

She is now p*ssed off though as now I don’t bother looking for anything – she’s made a rod for her back though as she always knows, just makes me less likely to look myself. Not going to pointlessly waste energy.

My response is generally ‘Why have a dog and bark yourself’……needless to say a few of my things go missing soon after 😉

I would suggest that some don’t like trail centres because it gives easy access for all partake in ‘their’ hobby – and they just dont like it because it’s special and they are special and if everyone does it then they are no-longer unique.

See also numerous threads on here about niche bikes etc.. 😉

Funnily enough Monotokpoint we dont have a tent at the mo (nice and organised) and saw yours in the classifieds.

Like the look of it if a little big for the 2 of us.

Is the lock up at Afan or the Glyncorrwg (sp?)

    All good stuff thanks.

Not sure we’d actually leave the site at any time – would probably get there late saturday afternoon/evening (assume might have to arrange for late arrival?) then up early Sunday to do a bit of biking.

At the moment leave home at 4.30am, pick up mate from london around 6.00am get to the trails etc. about 10.00/10.30. Needless to say I’m knackered before we’ve even started. And the drive home the same day is probably dangerous. (thank heavens for the rumble strips)

    Cheers,

I thought I’d heard also about bikes being stolen – even cars being broken into to get to them. Think I’d probably want to hand-cuff myself to the bike and sleep with it in the tent. 😕

Always shop around – I rearely find Direct Line to be the cheapest.

Privilege have been the cheapest by at least £80-£100 for me the last 3 years compared to using the comparison websites.

Strange though, I think they are underwitten by Direct Line. 😕

If only Adolf’s mum had kept him on a lead!

Have to say that I own a dog (well puppy at the mo) and agree totally with TJ’s sentiment – we’ve chosen to have the pet so is out of order to make it other peoples problem through lack of control etc.

Even though Murray beat Tsonga at queens (I think) – I love the optimism that if they met in the final Murray could win even though he (EDIT: Tsonga) beat Federer and Djokovic to get there.

That said I do want Murray to win. Come on Tim!

This is what I had to do.

    1. On your PlayStation 3 navigate to the PlayStation Network icon.
    2. Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List > SCEA.

    You should find it there.

What made me smile was a radio interview with a lady from some organisation who stressed that:

some women of a certain age were going to have to work 2 years longer than expected and have only been given 7 years notice.

To my mind that’s enough notice! 😕
