I think I’ll have a chat with the Estate agents to air my concerns then talk to the sellers face to face.

6 foot – ride a medium and feels good to me.

I’m just going through the process now and will hopefully complete in about 3 weeks. Now seems like a better time than 4-5 years ago :D

CRC’s Evoc copy – I bought one and seems pretty good. Going to add a bit of bubble wrap and cardboard buts that mainly for my piece of mind.

Have a look on Evans website – quite a few in the sale.

Employ one contractor to do all/most of the work – they will do the PM job.

Really good bike that feels very well balanced and easy to get on with. The HV shock isn’t great but I fitted a fox volume spacer to mine and now feels much better. As above the paint finish isn’t very robust but you do get some touch up paint!

Think mine is about 32lb with fairly standard kit plus heavy brakes.

Go talk to your tutor and see what they say, might let you retake it in the summer.

So if I’m normally between a medium and large (40″ chest) which should I go for?

    £500 on a BBQ 8O

From memory when I looked at the internal roof space about 3 months ago there was a blue sheeting on the internal side of the roof – did not look breathable.

Yep. My Orange 5, stolen a few months ago in Shipley, was on Gumtree in Leeds days later. Police informed but didn’t act

That would boil my blood – despicable from the police.

Will keep a look out in Leeds too.

I have one on my covert and have fitted a medium spacer. Found I was blowing through the travel too quickly and like a more progressive feeling on my bike.

Sounds like it could be cavitated. I got mine fixed under warranty by Mojo but you need the original receipt for the shock/frame.

Why on earth have they done that?

    Stella Black is pretty good.

THE point 5 helmets are cheap on CRC. Tried one on in a shop and felt very nice.

Are sure that it takes you up to 32kg with BA?

I have a Blackspire ISCG mount on my 2011 Covert with an SLX triple chainset converted to a double – no problems with mine.

I recently booked our flights to Nice for Riviera. BA was about £5 more expensive than the budget ones and charge £30 each way for an extra bag which can be a bike bag up to 23kg.

Out of interest where can you hire a Nukeproof Mega from over there?

    Did you use the washers?

    From the BA website:

We will accept non-motorised bicycles of all dimensions provided they are packed in a recognised bicycle bag.”

Might want to double check your weight limit – not all are 32kg without some excess.

That is where mine went after 4 years of abuse. Such a great bike and so much fun. I’d be tempted by the new AM although they are not cheap.

Looks like the ticket Dr Bakes. Amazon also seem to sell the same one.

Is it worth have an alarm that sounds in the garage or is a system like that much more expensive as it would need to be tamper proof?

I just buy some from Office when they have a sale one – cheap but only last about 6-12 months.

Drink more and refuel after a ride. For Goodness Shakes work followed by proper food works for me.

Is it 190x50mm by any chance?

Fairly easy depending on the frame design. A socket set, big screwdriver, mallet, blocks of wood and WD40 should get the old ones out. Some will need a hefty wack!

Try to use a vice to put the new ones in, if not take your time with the mallet. Clean and grease before installing new bearings and only hit the outer race.

Done the high one at GT, getting the run in right is the hardest part. Want to try the one at Stainburn half way up the Norewood side but that run in looks even worse!

Went for the CRC Pro bag – will report back when it arrives.

Probably not as good as the Evoc but hopefully a little extra cardboard and bubble wrap will do the job.

The CRC one is their ‘pro version’, not the standard one.

    ‘Free uplift’ sounds excellent!

I have a medium Covert and am about 6 foot. Find it great for the riding I do and generally prefer a slightly smaller bike anyway. I think the large would have been too big for me, especially the standover height.

Love the bike but didn’t rate the high volume RP23 for my weight (13 stone) so added a volume spacer.

Kenny wont be sacked although he may step down. You’ve got to wonder who was making the signings of Carroll, Henderson and Downing – if it was Kenny then he’s clearly not the man for the job!

Definitely get super tacky 2.5″ for the front.

Good brakes make a big difference.

If your using the lifts then full face and knee armour, maybe arm and back.

    Goggles.

    Have fun!

Where is this at Dalby? I don’t remember it when I went last month.
