    Orbea Alma?

Although the 2011 version of my 2010 bike is now £1000 more expensive with no change in specification or design. Looks like I got a bargain!

I've got a Orbea Alma and love it. I wanted something slightly different and certainly don't regret choosing the Alma.

I always wanted the "Fibre De Carbone" model from the mid 80's. I used to have a brochure that I used to dream over. Never did get one!

Nice orbea! but what the hell are you doing with those pedals!

I took the picture when I first got it, the bike was supplied without the pedals I'd ordered as they were'nt in stock so I put those on as a temporary fix. Now has XTR SPD's.

This time of night on the M1 she was probably going faster than the cars!

Can't believe it just driven passed a woman riding a road bike up the M1 just south of Barnsley! Muppet

If you've just driven past her and posted on the internet (whilst driving) you're doing well!

Best send it over here then so it can be ridden, how it should be ridden.

Recover soon and enjoy it, you will enjoy it.

Thankyou, I'll consider your offer! 🙄

    It weighs about 20lb's.

Not ridden it yet! I've only had it for 2 weeks but broke my collar bone 3 weeks ago and not been on a bike since! Took 10 weeks from ordering to be delivered, hopefully be able to ride it in a couple of weeks time.

    Nice bike!

I've got a 2005 FXR that I've recently built up again. Had the frame powder coated red and the Curnutt shock serviced by Balfa. Has 2009 RS Revolutions fitted and a mixture of XT and XTR, looks and rides a treat.

playbus, we're still waiting for them to arrive but Im afraid the first order (of 50) are all now reserved
    sorry fella

Thats a shame, I registered an interest in the Jersey 6 months ago but never got any communication to say you were going ahead and taking orders. Any idea when the second batch may be ordered?

If they've welded it there could be either weld or crap on the inside of the exhaust pipe causing the exhaust gasses to be restricted. Higher the revs the more gasses are produced. This could be why the engine sounds rough as its not breathing properly.

I can't believe there is a shortage of exhaust parts for the AX, you could be getting fobbed off!

I'm with Samuri on this one. Continental GP4000S Tyres are highly recommended. I have them fitted to two of my road bikes and use them in summer and winter with no problems.

I've had developments on my bike delivery. The bike has been assembled and dispatched from Spain, due into the UK shop this week. I was told the delay was caused by a shortage or Sram XX components. Anyway with a bit of luck I should finally have it in the next few days.

Paul – I hope you receive yours soon!

Hope you get better quickly. I'm the same fell of my bike last weekend and broke my collar bone. Going to be off 6-8 weeks too and I have a new hardtail coming this week after waiting 10 weeks for it!

I face planted at Glentress on Saturday 15 May doing the black route and have broken my collar bone! Well more like a head / shoulder plant.

If Ranger Andy reads this thanks for your help and looking after my bike! (Red Foes)

I think another phone call to the supplying bike shop is needed in the morning! Does anyone know who the UK importer is? I've searched google and can't seem to find anyone.

I've had a carbon road frame painted. The original clearcoat was removed by fine sandpaper then painted. My frame was airbrushed as I wanted an individual design and cost £400. Looks good though!

    Thankyou!

Looking at pictures of the bike it looked like it was, just didn't want to take the risk and order something without knowing.

I have 5 bikes with a new one on the way soon. They are a mix of road and mtb bikes with a total value of about £18k. They all exceed my level of fitness and ability but I enjoy owning them and I appreciate the design and engineering gone into building them.

I don't care what other people think because I have the pleasure of riding and owning them and more importantly I can afford them!

I agree what a previous poster said and it's all about someones attitude, people who lack the ability acting like they are a top level pro, idiots!
