Just come back from 3 weeks in Florida and we did about 10 Disney days. Went with our 4 year old son and never once felt we were going to loose him or need one of those child leashes.

I used them last week. Ordered some 3T carbon handlebars 8:30pm Wednesday night and they were delivered Friday afternoon, by Yodel!

Great price, no one in UK were anywhere close.

Auction says enough plus there is pictures. Buyer obviously doesn’t know enough about campagnolo components. As previously mentioned I would like to know how it doesn’t fit, they might just need different BB cups.

What make car? I have a Mercedes and use Richard Hollings a Mercedes specialist.

Another yes for Halfords Autocentre for MOT’s, I take our cars to the Layerthorpe branch and never had any problems or failures!

Got to be the Honda NSX. About 12 years ago I nearly bought one as I had a S2000 at the time and saw it as the next step. Wish I did looking at the prices now, they were less money then for a second hand couple of years old car than they are now.

Bought an Anker Soundcore Boost on Friday off the back of this post, delivered from Amazon yesterday and very impressed. £55 very well spent!

As it’s a 2005 car it’s unlikely to have a DPF. Also you don’t need to break any speed limits to give the engine a good workout. Change gear later and leave it in a low gear to keep the revs up.

I was at Fibbers last week, hopefully they’ve got the gents toilets fixed. They were the worst toilets I have every been to. One poor member of staff was permanently in there mopping up piss that was leaking out of several toilets.

On parking I’d would just park on the road down Toft Green, as previously mentioned £2 all night.

I’ve got an unlocked 64gb iPhone 6S. Best price I’ve got through the “sell your phone” sites is £388. I’ve started the ball rolling with the selling process now as I have 14 days to send to them and prices always drop when the new phone is launched.

Will make my final decision on Wednesday then the phone and spec is announced but have my price fixed.

Why all telephone numbers in America contain 5-5-5.

Also, why all cars make a blip blip noise when you remotely lock or unlock them. So 1980’s.

Finally why do cars always slightly roll forward in America when the driver gets out of them. I’ve drove and parked cars in America many times and this has never happened to me.

The year they took part in the Gumball 3000 Rally. Think it was 2001, they did a Jackass special.

I live in York. 98% of the city centre is totally accessible by foot and was during the worst of the recent floods. There are several car parks on the outskirts or the park and ride open.

TBH the media hyped up the whole flooding thing, there was a few streets that were flooded for a couple of days that normally aren’t but the majority of the flooded areas always flood so nothing really new. Pre 1980’s this was just a normal winter occurrence.

Have a look out for any 2015 bikes heavily discounted to make way for the 2016 stock. Get more for your money!

If I was looking for another road bike I’d be going down the buying the frame and components myself route and building the bike I want to my own spec.

Slight hijack but I was in Harrogate last weekend and found The Pit bbq restaurant. Anybody been? Any good? How does it compare with Reds in Leeds?

If I wanted a more “contemporary” or formal look for a front garden, is a Privet hedge the way to go?

Need something about 5 foot in height to the front boundary.

Pampas Grass is what you want! 😉

They were in a Muslim country, try doing the same in Iran or an IS controlled area and three days in prison and £1k fine is nothing. If she was lucky she would be stoned to death there.

You’ve got to respect the country you’re visiting religion and customs. Don’t like them don’t go!

I’m an electrician and have been for 21 years and I’m now a site supervisor. My apprenticeship took four years. I’m not convinced these short intense courses are the way forward especially when they cost nearly £7.5k! Personally I would be looking at trying to get an adult trainee job with an electrical contractor and do a proper apprenticeship.

This is probably easier said than done so good luck, hope things work out.

I’ve got a W204 2007 C220 C Class and always used the main dealer. A service is about £220 and B service about £340 plus any scheduled additionals. Never had an issue with my local dealer (York)

Im writing this whilst staying in this place. Fantastic location. Think there are other apartments in the same building that are bigger.

I’ve got a Mercedes C Class that I bought brand new in 2007. It cost £38k so about 75% of my annual salary, I paid cash for it. I’ve driven just under 100k miles and it has been faultless and totally reliable. I like cars and enjoy driving them and it’s reasuring to know that I can jump in it and drive to the south of France and not have to be worried about it breaking down like I would in an old beater.

Looking to sell it soon and spend about £40k in cash on my next car. Depretiation doesn’t bother me, it’s just a cost of ownership.

NASCAR is fantastic, went to the Coke Zero 400 a few years ago over the independence day weekend at Daytona. It’s a great spectator sport where you can get close to the cars and drivers, can’t to that in F1! When we were there Kevin Costner was performing with his band in the fanzone only a few meters away from everyone and JP Montoya was on stage promoting his charity foundation.

I’ve been a couple of times and Barcelona is ok but that’s it. Personally not that impressed with the place, there are far better cities in Europe to visit for a weekend.

Also watch for pick pockets, they’re everywhere.

Just bought a Nikon D5300 camera. Always wanted a DSLR and with the recent birth of our son thought it was the ideal time to capture him growing up. Still learning about photography and don’t really know about all the settings yet but trying to teach myself.

I’m sat in a hospital delivery suite writing this now, my wife due to produce in the next couple of hours!

We went for the Silver Cross Pioneer “travel system” and simplicity car seat. Not used yet but it seems well built.

No connection to crown steak but…

My 67 year old mother-in-law text my wife yesterday to say her father was missing and there was a steak dinner waiting for him when he got home. Que much laughter from me and a puzzled look from my wife, until I explained the euphemism. Still chuckling today.

Rather than risk messing anything up why don’t you buy a cheap digital camera and memory card? If you’re at Disney in Florida there are loads of discount shops on International Drive or at the many outlet malls.

My wife got knocked off her bike whilst cycling through York a couple of years ago. The other women cyclist stopped looked at my wife on the ground then cycled off. Wife had a lacerated liver and spent three days in the ICU ward of York District hospital. We approached the police about the accident but they say they couldn’t do anything as tracing the other cyclist would be impossible!
