Kona wah wah from eBay traders same as nano thru pin about a tenner cheaper and not from superstar, the Ryan air of cycle mail order.

Yes yes but they don’t come in PURPLE!!

The Superstars thru-pin Nanos are £43 at the mo, the same as the ‘normal’ Nanos (I think they’re normally a bit dearer but I might be wrong).

I’ve just ordered some in purple with gold pins (I’m not gay though).

The problem on some of them was that pivots were overtightened from the factory. This caused all sorts of strange wear on the linkages. I’ve got a nice Devinci Dixon instead now 🙂

That’s the view of the Renthal stem from the good side.

    It’s got an interesting face….

It’s beautiful from any angle. Like me.

sorry to bang on about nicolai but i think their 5 yr warranty is valid even if bikes are used for racing…..do others offer this?

I hear this remark about racing a fair bit too and I’m interested in this as, how would the manufacturer ever actually know if the damage ocurred in a race or if you had raced on the frame at all? Genuine question.

After you buy the frame, someone from Nicolai then follows you round for life so they can see what you get up to with it.

    It’s included in the price.

I’ve googled the devicni lifetime warranty and isn’t it restricted to buying a whole bike?

No don’t think so. I got mine frame only and it had an enormous ‘lifetime warranty’ tag on it.

I think green is hardest, then blue then purple. I think you can also get black that’s even softer but I might have dreamt that.

You’ve sort of answered your own question – if you’ve read about sag, you need to use a pressure that gives you the % sag you want. It’s trial and error at first.

I think the mag needs a LOT more stuff about road bikes in it 🙂

But if you fall off and the chin bit snaps off and sticks in your face that will make you more ugly.

A sturdy beard would give better face protection (although you would still look like a ****t).

I thought a Met Parachute was part of the uniform to be worn by the fatties you see standing around chatting at the side of / in the middle of the trail at places like Llandegla.

    Parachute + Audi A4 + pads + large boring mouth = ****

Yep I’ve done mine and it seems better so far then the crappy original one. Only done a few rides with it so far but haven’t needed to take it to bits yet and I was doing it A LOT previously.

Ohhhh come on then. But no more sensible advice ok?!

I just went and got myself one of these for £7.99

It’s kind of cute! The bladder does look a bit dodgy though – more like a cheap bit of camping equipment. I’ve got a 2 litre Camelbak one lying around so might try and squeeze that in instead.

Lol, helpful bunch! You’ll need any hollowtech 11 spanner which sits in the grooves of the bb cups, before that ………..

You can’t go around giving people actual proper advice on here! Go and stand in the corner and think about what you’ve done.

You’d have to buy a whole Fox Float rear shock seal kit as they don’t come separatly and the RRP has just gone up to £17 on these (although I’ll be cheaper ), am going to have a word with my seal manufacturer to see what they have in stock.

Damn I pinched the seal out of a Fox kit I already had! Will be needing to replace this seal when the time comes for a shock service.

I did it the other day after seeing it mentioned in that mag. Only ridden with it once since then so it’s early days but the seal is much tighter compared to the shite baggy one that the post came with.

(Yes it is the seal where the shaft meets the collar bit)
