Best AC/DC song? You are all wrong

He didn’t say best he said favourite in which case nobody is wrong. For me it would have to be Touch Too Much.

I bought a bottle of the Leapfrog quarter cask after someone posted a PSA on here last week. I’m saving it for my birthday on Sunday. My favourite whisky is Lagavullin – how does the Laophroaig compare.

You all seem to be posting as if it’s already finished. 558 will be flying next year assuming they raise funds for the winter service. The major work which is necessary to keep it flying is not needed until the end of next year.

    Official press release.

They fund this purely from donations so if you can chuck a few quid their way then we will all be able to see it fly next year for the last time.

No one mentioned David Millar – <opens can of worms> he’s also a good example of how to climb back onto the pedestal (IMHO).

I would have thought the Via Gellia is a lot of fun in a Type-R.

You could do this on a router table with a fence and a fixed end stop. Just rotate the dowel against the router bit.

Not sure I’ve described that too well, so here’s a picture.

Tesco are currently building an express store over the road from my local shop, about half a mile from a Tesco extra.

I can’t see the local shop lasting long once it opens. Will Tesco be delivering my papers at the weekend? Thought not.

I stayed here http://www.miss-sophies.com/%5B/url%5D a couple of years ago – it’s called a hostel but it’s nothing like my experience of youth hostelling. I booked a bed in a dorm room as I was on a cheap motorbike tour of europe but they gave me a private room which, for £16 a night was bargain. The private rooms are fantastic, finished to a very high standard, like something out of a boutique hotel. It’s right over the road from the Mercure Pguy78 mentioned above so very handy handy for Central Prague.

‘Broken Bones Before A Broken Heart’

To me this sounds like some sort of tendency towards domestic violence.

Where does it say he read it. He says he received it and I assume didn’t open it to read it until Sunday when he was next at his computer.

    Peter Hitchens what a tw@

I don’t think that adequately covers by a huge measure.

What world does this man inhabit. He seems to believe that an adequate deterrent will always stop people from committing crime. Obviously this is true, you just need to look at the US and how the threat of the death penalty keeps their murder rate so low.

Isnt G4S the company formerly known as Group4 ? who kept losing prisoners in transit so they changed their name ?

They are also the company who managed to put a home curfew tag on an offender’s false leg.

You see that big blue sign on the post (and the smaller ones on the bollards)

That’s an order which you have ignored.

Essentially you’ve driven over the pavement, had there been a child(‘s face) walking across not expecting a car to drive through and therefore not looking then the outcome could have been worse.

You made a mistake, pay up and learn from it.

    2002 – Queen’s golden jubilee, T Henman Semi-finalist
    2012 – Queen’s diamond jubllee, A Murray champion

FTFY. Although it doesn’t have quite the same symmetry.

Did that actually happen to you? Only, it’s been doing the rounds on the Internet since before the web existed.

Sadly this actually happened, I know the site and person who called us – some of our customers are a bit thick. We often get calls to the on-call helpline in the middle of the night because they can’t find any paper for the printer – like we should know where they store their paper, never mind the fact we probably didn’t even provide the printer.

I’d be very tempted to kick it back to your boss going “you have two options, you can get me read-only access to the relevant part of the DB from the suppliers, or you can put up with it looking crap.”

Getting the password isn’t going to happen. If it looks crap, then so be it, I’m just trying to make it look a bit better with the tools I have/can find.

this sounds like one of those ‘technical solutions’ that anyone without 15 years at the company could possibly hope to understand…..

(technical debt is my favorite phrase for this)

Not sure what you’re getting at here. The software I’m working with and trying to display is pretty irrelevant – everything I’ve asked about involves working with Windows based tools.
