at the end of the day we’re probably all over-biked for what we ride and there is a huge industry telling us we need new stuff in order to ride well but a lot of it is fashion. it wouldn’t surprise me if , after everybody has bought shiny anodised flat pedals that they bring out a new type of clip-in that everyone will need all of a suddenty
I quite like the current dawgs but they are way overpriced. they do have an undestrucable feel and you see a lot of guides using them which must mean they’re reliable. i think a lot of it is fashion and marketing .
if you think its the same language try bumming a fag .or ask them if kids take their own rubbers to school . when i was working at a summercamp there i told the kids to get their costumes ready to go swimming and they all wanted to dress up as cowboys .they are very optimistic and open but after a while you start longing for a bit of irony or sarcy -ness.
camelback blowfish are good and are only forty squids in liesure lakes in sale.nice and compact and well designed and they have the advantage that you can expand them to carry more by undoing a zip for longer trips.
everytime i have had noises from mine it has seemed to come from all over the bike , and its always been the rear skewer so i’d check that first as its so cheap to sort out compared to the other stuff
If you approach Cragg from the bridle way at the top of the concreteroad and enter past the bit of a hole where the burned out car used to be thats effectively the start of the new stuff or if you enter from the ding side [ past the wind farm and head towards the berms its past them .
the new stuff at lee is some jumps they’ve put in at the back of the pump tract in order to train the british cross country team .they don’t look like cross country as I recall it !!
I’d have thought kids would love running along the walls but I was laways a skinflint with mine som maybe I was looking at free/kinderfriendly delights
start off with a walk around the walls so you get to see where everything is and then wander along the shambles -other people have mentioned the attractions but there are so many lovey old buildings to look and , or the river to walk along that theres a lot for free before you start going in museums etc
Worst – how about the maggot farm on moor bottom road, you may get a waft of that tommorrow on your ride.sorry can’t make it by the way I’ll be away in derbyshire.
the good thing is that you can talk about the services you feel that the community needs-you can have anything you want as long as it is made of purple paper.
Bonrtager do one of their body geometry saddles in white for £50 , they come in different widths and you can return them if your arse doesn’t get on with them.
I’d go fro tevas every time but if you buy some lok around for a good ppricve.I paid £ 80 for a pair and then saw them in winfileds for £ 30 a week later.
hya , we ride around rammy most wednesday evenings if you fancy it , ussually set off from coach and horses in edenfield at half six, but I ride up from rammy if you want to join me
look on amazon , they do a trimmer called the groom mate platinum X1 , its £14 but worth it and guarenteed alifetime, no batteries you just twizzle it on the offending outgrowth
arse crunchingly awful as all the songs mentioned are, nothing can match the eyeball squelching awfulness of any cover version perpetrated by the abysmal william shatner .he has shatnered on many a worthy tune including ” common people ” by pulp and indeed he sould be pulped for inflicting himself on the world
when I was first into biking and like everybody else obsessed with losing weight I went to my local lbs , run by a miserable fecker. I asked him how could I trim a few pounds without costing a fortunate- he said have a good shit and a haircut.
