Ok then how about the fact that cycling may be excluded from the next Olympics as it can no longer be guarenteed to be clean, whether this is fair or not [ and he is clearly not the only one] ,what rehabilitaion has he done to make good the irreperable harm he has caused the reputation of cycling
quite limited inthe town centre, rice and three is cheap and cheerful indian food , theres a tapas or pizza express ,other than that the ” hen and chicks” pub on deansgate does good pub food as well as good beer
I think that people are confusing reconciliation/ rehabilitation with a well choreographed and organised public exhibition of hand-wringing carefully calibrated to manoevre him back into competetive sport .I don’t see any genuine remorse or regret, apart from getting caught out -there is rumoured to be a film in the making ” cycle of lies ” so he is actively profiteering from his wrong-doing .put the one-bollocked bastard in court and make him pay compensation to the cancer charity he has shat on.
I ussually do a basic salad , just pick a pulse, cous cous ,rice ,pasta, bulgar or quinoa etc and add either chopped veg [ or roast em the night before , or tuna if you like .easy
Bolton’s fish market is much better ans d the veg market is excellent with exotic vegetables from all over the world, Rochdale market however is a 1960s concrete nightmare with nothing to reccommend it …hope that helps

I like drinking and like others have said it easy to see the amount and frequency increase .I’ve done the DRYATHLON [ staying off booze for the whole of January and giving the amount I would have spent to cancer charity ]. Root veg- drizzle with oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds and roast in oven. Potatoes look very attractive if you half them and then put slices in , nearly all the way but now quite and then drizzle with oil and roast .sprouts -bloil em till al dente and then fry in butter for a short while with either chestnuts or cashews .OR you can shred em and stir fry with ginger , enjoy
Ton I think it depends on the exercize and the level you do it at.You might have to accept you can’t ride/ play / run like you used to .I have, but it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy activities , you just have to readjust your goals .I only started riding and swimming as I’d **** up my heel and ankles and am not supposed to loadbearing stuff .

depending where in the North you are , Nutters in Rochdale does really good fine dining , not as wacky or as dear as fat **** but very innovative nevertheless and a decent amount of scran
Leffeboy, there are veggie alternatives to Worcestor sauce, Hendersons relish is nice or lancashire sauce which is very piquant/ mustardy ,don’t need those nasty salty fish critters.
I was quite worried about the hospitals after the new survey which says that a third of patients should be put somewhere else due to issues like dementia etc, how reassuring then to have a perfectly healthy young woman hospitalized for chucking up a bit in the morning , honestly wtf is EXTREME morning sickness- chucking upearlier than everybody else ?
I think theres a distinction to be made between bodybuilding – building muscle mass for its owns sake and bulking up, and weight training – doing specific exercizes to improve your ability in a given sport / discipline. I will do the latter but I can’t see any use [ as a cyclist – ] in the former as all you do is make yourself heavier when for our discipline you need a good strength to weight ratio .better to do high reps of low weight and strengthen the muscles you need , including, as said earlier your core and balance which are vital
We had a good ride on sunday but it was more about having the crack and socializing that willy- waving. Every down hill is technical for me cos I’m shite at it .
