I think the real issue is that the government is actively attacking local councils and wants to deprive them of this source of income ,without which they are significantly more vulnerable rather than giving a shite about motorists ,at the end of the day if you park illegally you get done, end of.

On a lot of bridleways and even paths near me are signs asking mountain bikers to slow down and consider walkers and families ,I wonder if people are getting obsessed with strava and doing everything at the highest possible speed rather than sharing the countryside with other users .theres definitely a perception that we’re all hooning a long scattering folk in our wake

I had a five and enjoyed it ,when it came time to replace I looked at the newer version and thought it was underspecced for the money.I got a blur instead and for me it rides better up and down hill, I think it must be due to more refined suspension.
