I think a few of us are meeting around 7pm this Wednesday.

Pace will be slow/steady (due to some beginner riders).

    Cheers

Salty water, dries them up and kills them. Large bags of salt are cheap.

I am sure someone will say its not a good idea, but its cheap and it does work.

I have bad hayfever for years and found that these are the only ones that work for me….Cetirizine Hydrochloride @ tesco, 30 tabs for £2.

Loratadine have never worked for me…I guess its different things for different people, trial and error.

Had my first sniffle and worst day so far on Saturday… :-(

Yeah some idiot is covering some of the trails with logs etc, I will be walking the dog over there tomorrow, so we will clear some of it away…

Conditions are great at the moment.

Some of us ride Weds or Thurs evening, but it does vary from week to week, check out bikeradar.

I'm going up on the 29th, which only gives me the Sunday to do it, as it will be closed for the world cup event.

And I shall have to hire a bike as I dont think my stumpy will handle it ! ;-)

I had the Panaracer Fire XC Pro's a few years back, they were pretty good.

Anyone have the latest version of these ?

A few years back I had a camelbak classic…I managed to buy a camelbak add on bag to add storage etc.

I will see if I can find it and let you know what its called, but I did buy it whilst in the USA….

Not sure if this helps, I just cant remember what it was called….

Yeah I was looking at the Anthems as a FS bike, but I could see it was a little more XC/shorter travel, but I wanted something with a bit more travel…

I am sure they are great bikes but the ornage 5's just seem a little expensive compared to other bikes and kit…

I have just been reading about the Trek EX8, looks good, I just want to try out a few bikes as I am new to FS.

I have had a stumpty for just over 12 months now, a great bike, my first ever spesh.

I bought mine as I wanted something light to squeeze in the miles and build up the fitness…..its been a fantastic bike…

    Now I want something a little more bigger/hard hitting…

Yes, I did the long mynd a while back, I really enjoyed that one…

My family are originally from Shrewsbury and I am trying to explore more rides rather than sticking to my local stuff…

I did a little walking over the weekend………..yes I did notice the dog sh1t !

I did spot a few bits of singletrack along the way and I am planning on going back with the bike to explore…just wondered if there was enough there to keep me out of trouble ! ;-)

I bought the 9502, very impressed with it so far.

Is it worth buying the Thule tow bar carrier lock ?

Wyre Forest, a bit more travelling involved, but well worth the journey.

Thanks, Off beat sorted me out with a FSR XC

How much was the hire on the FSR?

We are going up to FW on saturday 29th May and I want to do the red XC route, but I think it might be a bit harsh on my stumpy HT ;-)

I have also just found out that I will only be able to do it on the Sunday, as for the rest of the week the trail will be shut due to the world cup, I was hoping it wouldnt be closed for the whole week.
