Same here in Wexford,no one seems to pick the hedgerows, weve had crab apples, raspberries, wild strawberries, blackberries, now waiting on slows, follow first frost rule.
Plus home from in laws with tesco carrier full of really fizzy apples, ideal for crumbles.
3 gallon hedgerow wine brewing too
    Bounty all around >

We live on a bore hole supply here in rural Eire, pressure tank ensures constant pressure and no water fee’s for us ,n private septic tank too.

    Very common practice here.

Had tests done and water totally pure in comparison to mains, n water at work in Waterford is terrible ,limescale n all sorts.

The woods to the back of the park hold a host of bridlepaths, likely to be muddy after recent rains, but good fun on chunky tyres.
We were there back in sept ,lack a bike wash so used the downstairs wet room shower(doubt we were popular with the cleaners after).

Pub was good too guest ales or bottled good n good sausage n mash meal too.

Well made some with basic pork seasoning, using mace n ginger n salt n pepper.
Let the pastry rest in the fridge overnight once i had hand formed the pies.
Glazed with beaten egg, then hot oven(gas 7) for 15 mins to set pastry ,then lower oven(gas 4) to cook meat for 30 mins, lower shelf.
Then cool on wire rack .

Here in Eire i went for a supervisor role in a bakery, although my trades are butchery and support work.
Didn’t get that job but was told we’ll keep you on file ,you think standard reply that will be the last i hear from them.
Role on 5 months and get an email one sat night, quite late ,we have a vacancy in production at basic wage ,are you interested?
So i did days trial ,fine ,started a 5 day week for 2 mnths, had a chance of support work ,so talked to bakery and went to 3 day week there n rest of days as relief for support work .
Role on now to january and tell bakery i will be leaveing end of month and end up being offered supervisor role that i applied for originaly and able to name my price to a sensible leval with review in 3 months to next increment.

So shows a shop floor job can improve.!!!!!1

VCU units as above ,and if not caught final drive fail.

Ended up selling our for spares repairs as all above went and lost shed loads of money.

Meanwhile my s11 disco V8 was superb with gas conv done and the wife tryed to nick it several times n leave me the freeloader.(not amused)

IF YOU CAN TRY A YETI ,EVEN 2WHEEL DRIVE ARE SUPERB OFF ROAD,MUD N WET GRASS ETC.

I find old style trangia best ,slightly bulky but good fuel consumption and all pack in one bag then just add fuel bottle.

Kettle ideal for tea pot too.

Or if i want more power petrol pressure stove of course.

OK apologies, but did come across a bit strong .

Yes there are diffferences in UK and Irish law.

Otherwise purchase is straight forward process unless there are complications with land title etc.

But certainly a good time to buy over here, lots of property been on market a long time so don’t be afraid to offer low .

WE purchased here and our uk solicitor who did our uk sale stated that he could not do an irish purchase as irish law is different to uk as far as house purchase goes .
This is fact ,but i don’t have to disclose personal info to a stranger on the net .

Ask your uk solicitor if you need more clarification .

    mountainman

Basically yes you need an Irish solicitor to handle purchase in republic of Ireland.

We sold up in UK <uk solicitor> then Eire solicitor for our purchase here.

Any thing else just ask .

Agree with comments on forks with earlier models, mines a 2009 model, with canti brakes n resultant fork judder.

Thanks guys, sort of confirmed my suspicions as to the ownership and original rrp.

I have ordered them if not up to the job i will return, but as i’m in Eire there actually fair priced compared to goods on offer in shops here.
I have used their walking shoes for work for last couple of years and found them to well up to my needs.

Just fancied a pair of lighter runners..

    thanks again guys.

Welsh speakers all over the place, plenty in Cardiff who’ve come from other places. Welsh speaking families are a sizeable minority at my kid’s meithrin I reckon – 25-33% of parents are chatting to their kids in Welsh in the queue maybe.

Anyway – there’s far more difference between Bristol and Cardiff than you would expect from two cities 40 miles apart. I’ve found it very noticeable.

Ceredigion is a large welsh spoken area ,but majority of those that speak it can’t actually read it.And opt for forms in english as welsh translations are usually not very good.
