Still have some Easton carbon bars that I bought a Thompson stem for last year, didn’t see point of replacing bars which were fine.

Thoughts are with you, I visited my elderly father in a care home on Xmas eve and they had signs up about norovirus. Did the normal stuff for the rest of xmas eve and most of yesterday then it hit me, spent most of last night awake and slept most of today but starting to feel a bit better.

Being on your own and not well is the worst feeling so get well soon.

The pub in Ampthill is the Old Sun, they have a road section which go out on a Thursday night also.

From Ampthill you will also find the riding at Chicksands can be OK especially in the winter as it drains pretty well.

Then you have the trails around Millbrook woods and also the new bits around the centre parcs site on the edge of Flitwick.

Basically there is plenty of riding, what do you ride as I am local and will say hello if I see you around. I ride a genesis altitude mostly for the local stuff.

Another vote for Photoshop, regularly work with 30 meg files no problem. If you are anywhere near Milton Keynes happy to help.

Would be a 90 for me, 60 years of offroading history means Land Rover must know a thing or two about it by now.

Had a spin round the local trails for a couple of hours this morning, minus 5 but great fun.

Trout are you able to confirm you received payment OK for my order?

Just want to be sure as have had a few problems with local post recently.

BCT your bits arrived yesterday, many thanks. If you get a moment could you check the wiring diagram I posted a few posts back and make sure I understand the new driver wiring.

    Thanks

Thanks to Trout and BCT who sorted me out with the various parts this morning, really looking forward to getting on of these built and in use.

I can see this light building being a bit addictive, I started via the P7 torch route last winter but now want more light.

Be good to see a few more completed builds as everyone seems to have there own take on what they want.

Interested in giving one of these lights a go having seen all the builds on this thread so BCT and Troutie do you still have kits available?

I will also contact you direct through emails in profile but thought would post here also incase you see this first.

    Many thanks

Another vote for the MSR ones, got mine from The Outdoor Shop in Milton Keynes, good prices and very helpful guy in the shop. And before someone asks no I don’t work for them, just very happy customer.

Had something similar done by Chipsaway and have to say they did an awful job, it ended up looking worse than before they started. Am now thinking of getting it done by a proper body shop, should have done this in the first place.

Depends on style you are looking for but WordPress is very good and free. There are loads of different styles available and its easy to use, built my own site a few weeks ago. http://www.paulholtom.co.uk

I have to agree with crotchrocket, Chicksands is my local woods and when the red and blue routes were in existance a good couple of hours riding could be had. Then overnight almost they fenced off an area that cuts straight through where the red went and removed all the existing signs.

Mountain biking should be about catering for all and not just an elite few. Find the best time to ride there now is at night when you can go where you want without hassle.

They certainly look different, was thinking more along the conventional Camelbak kind of style.

Yes but Cavendish always comes across as a right miserable sod or is that just me.
