    Thanks everyone,

It appears we are the preferential creditors in this instance, so as long as we’re employed to help run the business our salaries are protected.

Thankfully no security bods surrounding the office. Fingers crossed they can overcome the businesses difficulties and we remain employed :o)

    Chin up!

    Ta again

Good point, glad to hear that I’ll at least get statutory redundancy. We’re still in teh office just now but I have th efeeling it’s now or never to get away with everything as they’ll probably change the locks tonight!

RAM and chipsets yes, but I’m reckoning on getting away with the whole workstation!

“the locals” LOL i like it

Yep us locals use Avon Skin So Soft, but really does depend on location and weather – if it’s been rainy and hot expect squillions – if it’s bone dry you’ll be lucky to find any IMO.

hmmm for winter 24hrs something to warm your body by at the same time as drying your clothes while waiting for team mates to come back :o) Maybe it could heat food up at the same time – and is completely not dangerous – ruling out fire.

would be cool to design a marquee specific to MTBing that has everything in it, or a trailer, or hand/feet warmers for gloves/boots, something to stop cramp, a longer lasting disc brake pad compound, a live-eye cctv link to your team mates whereabouts on the course yadda yadda yadda

The terracota is a soft tone version of the bulb. I think you can get soft-tone energy saving bulbs, but I think they are candle shaped? Otherwise use a 40w equivalent energy saving bulb (9w?), instead of the 60w equivalent (11w?)

Doesn’t the one who knows about these things know what to do?

mmm I have the same dilemma and use a couple of push-on cupboard battery lights. They are RUBBISH!

I was thinking of wiring up a big fluorescent with a long extension cable and plug and running it into the house when I want to work outside. My other idea is similar but fixing a 300w flood lamp inside the shed so it acts as a heater too (again with the extension) :o)

I’ve heard of people running cheap LED lights with about 150hours of burn time.

I’m happy just now with my Heckler while I’m saving for my wedding but I reckon after the wedding I’ll be looking to upgrade bits and bobs. Though I quite fancy building a hardtail next, mmm and maybe changing the forks on the Heckler and the chainset and the shifters and the wheels and the bar and the grips – all of these I could put on the hardtail!!!

Ah well I guess I’ve got UGI as well :o(

Take loads of Glucosamine and Bio-Selenium – loads! It’s like extra body-friendly joint lube or something (perhaps a sports scientist could back me up on this one)! My dad takes it and I’ve started too as I don’t fancy knee replacement surgery before age of thirty! Only three years to go then :(

Thanks for the offer wwaswas, much appreciated but I think I might go for the Hope Vision 1, as I can get the light, battery charger (with in car adapter) and 8 x 2700mAh AA batteries for £100.

I think having looked at it I’ll get more light for my money going for the Vision-1 over the Stella’s – if I had a couple of hundred quid I think it’s be Ay-Ups definately!

    Thanks for your help anyway!
    cheers chub
