Back to the affidavits then – if hincapie and the likes all admit to doping quite freely durin that 90s / 00s phase then surely the UCI and USADA should stop them riding in professional events with retrospective bans???

I like Hincapie but if he’s saying he bought services to blood dope during tours and races then he along with the rest deserve to be hit with bans

Sod them all, genuinely no sympathies for the ‘we have to dope to be competitive’ plea – work harder and if your hardest isn’t good enough then tough titties

Ah, well I never said anything about it at all. I merely mention that I stumbled upon it on my way to this site :D

and once again this overtly ‘average’ country rules the majority by the minority.

People are dying in eastern europe due to severe cold conditions, people dying in third world with severe malnutrition – but someone innocently calls a woman ‘love’ on a bus and it’s headline news.

    FFS – just sayin

Interesting OP – you’ve just described exactly what I had from November through December!

With the exception that my physio had me doing strengthening and balancing exercises! Now no pain in my knee and the exercises are getting easier although knee still feels a bit tight. She was ace and also alerted me to shortened hamstrings, weak hip flexors and flat feet. Working on exercises for all of these too now. Can’t thank her enough – my knees still click incidentally but at least they don’t grind – that scares me!

Humm my Heckler is now officially 6 years and 4 months old. It was my ideal bike at the time, Thomson, Hope, XT throughout. The Fox forks and shock are still on along with the Thomson post and hope stem, the hope hubs have been rebuilt and the rims still exist, cranks and handlebar are I think the same; otherwise everything else has been changed out. I’ve been thinking about a new bike now for the last two years but now my wife’s pregnant I think I might get a new bike in 20 years! Who knows what they’ll look like then!!! Shimano XTCYBR with mobile shifting and braking from your cybernetic implant in your head.

Shimano – I thought of it here first!!! Design-right!

No strings for a month, then if you want to break it off ask her to marry you – that should kill it off nicely and amicably. You’ve had fun and she’s had a nice guy proposed marriage which she just isn’t ready for – surely if it works in Hollywood it can work here?

Actually shutter delay is less than others I’ve used and batteries appear to last ages couldnt give an accurate timeframe as it’s not being used every day but lasted a whole month so far with lots of flash

The only thing that’s annoying is shooting indoors without the flash and things can get a bit blurry but I think that’s more to do with the operator lol

My first Strathpuffer was the best event I’ve done – great atmosphere and great team spirit amongst all suffering the conditions! A total clusterfeck of riding and laughing!

And strangely for such a chaotic experience, also the home of my most serene mtb ing memory – 3am no-one else around, just silence, and snowflakes falling peacefully to the ground where everything took on a moonlit blue hue. Perfection

Then I rode past the skeleton who said hi! I freaked out and fell off my bike – turned out to be someone walking the course at 3am!!! actually think I might have pee’d myself a bit

This is pretty interesting – I’ve only just got my first road bike and the bars were set up straight; but after the first ride set them with a slight drop as it felt weird straight! I thought I was being weird but glad to see I’m not!!! I’ve just bought latest cycling plus (hangs head in shameful guilt) and it has some pretty useful tips on setting up your bike – I need to gety saddle sorted as still too much pressure going through arms shoulders neck.

Your hand pain does sound like a trapped nerve issue – I used to get it wearing a pair of spesh BG gloves but changed to endura and all good – strange

+1 for contacts and I ride with Oakley jawbones all the time now (clear, yellow, & black lenses for different conditions) takes seconds to swap out lenses

Lol yep up beside auchinairn road for 4 years now! Funny how you find these things out when you move away!

It’s kind of like the two or three guys I’ve seen riding past me in the car a few times but I’ve never managed to get the window down and stop the car fast enough to speak – and i’d look crazy running after them shouting lol

Hora – if it’s your inner thigh near your groin it could be Jock-Itch (ring worm) – not as bad as it sounds really, just a litle fungal infection that can be cured with a cream like canesten

    Sorry for hijacking thread!

On thread I quite fancy getting a pair of these – http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/clothing/shorts/product/alp-x-shorts-9966/#user_reviews
