Elfinsafety: Worked in the London courier industry for 15 years. We have over 200 riders, drivers. Never had a fatality, one unfortunate pushbike rider lost a limb.

Very surprised to hear of so many fatalities in a month, sure you are not exagerating?

We had one at work about 3 years ago. It was stupidly slow and would literally crawl up the slightest incline. Battery life was also terrible.

It was so slow it actually felt dangerous riding around London.

    Definitely would not reccomend

Technology may well have moved on in 3 years though.

    Eagerly awaiting my key.

Did notice Monday morning that the couple of docking stations I passed in the city (Cheapside and St Paul's) were both full at 09:15.

Have a meal at the Sword and Shield, in the centre near Lubyanka. It is an old KGB hangout now a KGB themed restaraunt! Cheap and authentic Russian food and frequented by members of the FSB.

Had a great night in there, got bought bottles of vodka and made to drink with the locals.

After a quick google. Windows explorer whilst retaining the EXIF orientation property does not read it. So using a card reader is not going to make the slightest difference.

Orientation is stored in the EXIF data. Surely it makes no difference if you transfer from camera or via card reader, neither should change the EXIF data?

Pretty sure they are not changing the usage policy for existing contracts, only those that resigned after announcement of ne tariff at end of June.

So a bit of a non rant as you presumably took out your contact in April and have not resigned?

Without knowing what camera you have could not say if you can 'get them to talk'

If you take your GPS with you when taking photos you can add the coordinates to the photo later using software. You store the coordinates in the pictures EXIF data so try googling EXIF and GPS

Think I have a bit of an OCD when it comes to coin collecting, generally try to always pay with notes in the pub etc. By the time I get home after an alldayer have sometimes had over £50 in change.

In the last three years saved enough in coins to buy a Breitling and diamond ring from Tiffany for the missus.

See if you can do top of aguile rouge to villaroger without stopping, lovely restaraunt in villaroger when you get there.

Also reccomend Chalet d'arc for lunch, it's near 2000 on the flat run back to village.

Watch the nutters on the flying k, also some nice steep mogul runs to side of flying k

if you get loads if fresh snow go play in the trees above vallandry,

take a trip on the vanoise express, while on the la plagne side have a go in the bobsleigj.

We have an ongoing battle with clampers opposite our offices, we have 200+ vehicles.

Our issue different to yours, we keep getting vehicles clamped in an area that is free to park.

First couple of times we tried to take it up with the clampers, ending up with the police being called and them threatening to arrest US!

Since then we have employed a solicitor to deal with this for us, now everytime we get clamped we pay the £150 then get the solictor on the case and generally receive about £500 back from the clampers, course we have to pay solicitors out of this.

Lost count of how many times this has happened, you think the clamping co would have learnt their lesson buy now, course nearly all their clampers are foreigners and so probably cannot read the signs stating we are allowed to park there.

Used them about 6 timers in last 3 years.

Gotta disagree with Shandy, they are definitley the budget end of the market, however, you get great value for money.

I take it for £200 you are going for a coach package? I think they now do two destinations via coach, 3 Valleys and Chamonix.

Personally have only done 3 Valleys on the coach. The accomodation they use is in Brides Les Bains, a spar town down the mountain. The town is absolutely dead at night. You have to catch the Olympic gondola up to Meribel, this is a half hour jouney, realistically you will not be skiing until 09:45, at the end of the day the last Gondola down is 5pm. The hotel they use 'Club Versau' is I believ owned by ski weekends, probably rates 2 stars and the food is rather basic.

One problem I have heard of though have been lcuky not to experience is if the coach gets stuck in London traffic and misses the Chunnel slot you may not get to resort until midday as opposed to the breakfast time arrival in the brochure.

All that said the weekends offer excellent value for money for minimal time off work (presuming you are London based)

Most certainly viable to be on the slopes by lunchtime. Our regular trip is to leave Central London at 6pm Friday night, getting to resort by 8am is perfectly feasible. You will b etired when you arrive but getting out on the slopes will soon perk you up.

*** Note this is in weather conditions, should be unlucky and get snow/blizzards journey time will increase dramatically
