We have about 40 LPG vans here, some factory converted (Ford) some aftermarket. These vans have a harder than average life, problems happen when they breakdown as there are few garages that deal with lpg repairs and so are priced accordingly.

I thought the decreased duty on LPG was being dropped in 2012?

Main benefit for us is that LPG vehicles are exempt from London Congestion charge (for the moment).

Have had a 3D TV for a while. There is a lack of content at the moment and some of the content/conversions are dire, when done properly I (e.g Avatar) think it is fantastic, some sports are also pretty good in 3D.

Not sure if it will be a fad or become mainstream but BBC are going to broadcast Wimbledon finals in 3D and ITV have also been doing trials.

As for being “sucked” into buying a 3D TV, if at the end of the day it is a passing fad then I will still have a TV that gives me a superb HD picture. Price wise 3D TVs are not really that bad, I actually paid less for this TV than my firat large plasma screen (7 years ago).

As for GT5 in 3D I actually found this rather distracting and now stick to 2D for games.

As above 150GB is pleanty for a workstation, anything that matters will (or should) be saved on a server. Would ahve though you could find somethng to delete if you looked hard enough? Try searching for large files, bound to be a couple of superfluous ones.

Not sure of your resort requirements but avoiding the French mega resorts will save you a few quid. If beginners go to one of the smallest resorts. Austria and Andorra will be cheaper than France. If cost is paramount you could book an apartment independent of a travel agent and self drive.

Another vote for Forerunner 305. 310XT not worth the extra unless you plan to swim with it or need more than 8 hours battery life.

I use a Forerunner 305. My only complaint with it is it can sometimes take a few minutes to grab a signal when it’s turned on but once its got it’s ok.

I find if I stand still it finds position within about 30 seconds, if I start moving though it can take up to ten minutes.

You will also want the garmnin quick release kit to allow mounting on bike and to easily swap between runing and the bike.
