At 5'9" I'd be choosing between a samll and a medium. You need to try one, even at the bother of travelling to a dealer.

No, but my cousin's husband was a social worker in Glos around that time, who resigned becasue of some nasty things that didn't lead to charges.

And I had met one of the victims at a party, & my 17 year old g/f at the time used to hitch that section of motorway regularly, by herself. (Hitching was common at the time. The Wests were one of the reasons lots of people stopped doing it)

    McBoo, sweetiepie, I know. 🙂
And as a chappie with connections to Hartlepool, I find it even funnier.

Good idea. They seem to be registered better by walkers than a verbal warning, porbably something to do with the frequency of sound.

It's more difficult to take a bell warning as being "aggressive" , compared with a shout, too.

That would be fine. What's the problem? They couldn't identify me from the picture, (match the face to the name & address etc) so if my image keeps them happy, why worry.

If they were blocking my way, or being intrusive, that's different.

I think you'll find that Berlusconi is even less of an upstanding person than Mandy. He is straight, however.

Grace & favour roles are everywhere, not just a NuLabour invention.

The screaming wouldn't have lasted long. My lad used to own a small snake (possibly a corn snake, anyway it was a constrictor) which we fed an injured mouse that the cat had brought in. The kill was amazing: a lunge, a scarf-like wraparound with about 5 secs eek noises from the mouse, then the snake started to eat it. Very impressive.

On a more positive note we rescued a 4" baby slow-worm from the mog yesterday. As we live in inner-city Bristol I was chuffed to find it, as it shows that there are at least two adults around as well.

    :0)

Depends on my Saturday night, but I will try to come.
Looking forward to either a ride or a hangover.

And will the pub be the Barge at Honey Street? It's lovely in good weather.

They're probably just a bit frustrated.
But so long as it wasn't too pervy; live & let live, I reckon.

Google translate (language tools) or babelfish.
You need a short phrase to be able to guess the language with any accuracy, unless you're a machine translator

No, the compounds mentioned above are gases. How do you think that they permeate through two layers of clothing?

The bacteria and solids stay in there, or are filtered out by clothing.

Mrs M has used one, but prefers to squat.
(Drac, the standing up is fine, it's just the shewee helps with aim. Otherwise it gets everywhere due to flap dribble)

    You mean us?

It's not the lack of camelbak cleaning, peeing in the shower and garden, and farting that stop me from getting a girlfriend.

    It's my wife.

CF: not the type of modelling these women were doing. Did I ever tell you I worked in a dirty bookshop in Soho, before the days of videos?

    Moses

Well, I know a couple of women who "modelled" in the 70's, whose pictures are presumably all around the world, and they're not particularly wound up about it…once it's normalised, there's nothing much to worry about so long as your name isn't associated with the image. We all make mistakes.

Eeh, when I were a lad, we had to draw our own pictures of naughty bits.
Youth of today, they're just soft.

(or hard, depending on the picture in question…..)

But they hadn't sold them to you, had they?
I think they gave you excellent service, as they didn't just charge your card the extra, and actually called you to explain the problem.

Pretty good of them, really. It's just a shame the website wasn't updated fast enough – but that happens.

Subject. I'm interested in journal search as a general topic.

Install Google Desktop. It takes a few hours to index everything, but it's very useful threafter. It takes about 20% of your document space to build the index, so don't do it on a full disk.

As an alternative, Copernic is very nice, but the free version won't index all parts of Outlook.

    (PS What type of journals?)

RF90's post was originally about using prisoners INSTEAD of animal testing. Trouble is, in the early stages of testing, you need an awful lot of animals, and you need to dissect them afterwards to see what the effects are on the various tissues.
Which might be a problem with people.

Samuri, it wasn't the SS. It was US students in the
    1960's.

Yes, it's worth the wait. It's the first art exhibition I've been to that made me laugh out loud, and the ideas & execution are great. We overheard people in the queue say that this was the first art gallery they'd been to, so if it brings new people into the museum that must be good.

30 people have died of it in the UK.
100,000 caught it in the last week, several hundred thousand have had it in total.

it's so mild, that the risk of serious illness from it is counterbalanced by your reduced risk of injury on the road by staying indoors.

    I'd go.
