Are the boots too big so you're slipping in them? Can you get more than one finger down the back of the heel when you're wearing them?

And for the descents, I really recommend walking poles. They help both feet & knees.

They arrive in banana boats, and have for the last fifty years.

    Thank you, all.
AS it's that green with top-routed cables and top & down tubes of similar diameter, it must be a 456.

    Hooray.

    It's a joke.

It starts: There was an Englishman, a Welshman & an Irishman….

The top one is a 60-foot high sculpture by Anish Kapoor.

The lower ones look like hyacinths that are reverting to their natural (not garden) form. Feral, you might say.

    I've got my knitting badge.
Now I'm after my embroidery & inert-gas welding certificates, thanks.

Try ringing some local airport/airstrip – how about the one near Shaftesbury or Bournemouth, since you're in Soton?

Convert – just a word of warning about Ryanair. They won't help.
They cancelled a return flight for us in Morocco last year (poor visibility, they said, except other Ryanair flights had landed as well as other airlines) and all they offered were free seats on the next flight with available spaces…

Which happened to be 4 weeks away.
We did get our fares back after a long long wait, but we'd had to pay for full-fares on another airline, plus 150 mile taxi ride.

Deluded- yes, those would do, too. Ashton Press especially.

No, I don't vote Tory, those are both ciders

C_G – are you just offering Tink's friend your cast-offs?
You could at least help her get a fresh one.

    Shirley Bassey.
I was very young at the time.
Funny, I still go for dark women.

    Buy her a bike.
    Take her to Swinley.
Leave her in the woods, with a flat tyre.
Wait for men to buzz around like flies, offering to help.

Ask them for drinkies as a thank-you.
    Sorted.

If he said "cysts", probably no need to be worried.
    But I'm no medic.

    Nah.
Wait another few days for that.
    🙂

Glad to have you back, young man

Once it's ready I'll let you know.
I'm fine – and you? I lurked on MumsNet for a while, for the angst, but it became too depressing for words. Too much work didn't help, either

    Hmm.
I Suggest you drop a mail to RSwank, he might know. He's used to seasonally & otherwise variable stats.

PS. The new van is in progress, my bank account is nearly empty.

    What?
Tossing in the toilets as well as being abused on a regular basis by that woman.

Are you insatiable or just making up for lost time?

Seconded regarding getting a newish car with good safety features.
And Dazzo's admitted having an accident already – partly through not noticing someone likely to pull out in front of him.

    Butterbur +1.
It's a parasite. Swallow its seeds & it'll grow inside you. That one's probably rooted in a dead rabbit or something.

I think we've met, so I'd like to add my voice to the well-wishers. It was good to see the number of "Missing" notices on the Qs at the weekend.
(We were the grey-haired couple of walkers in the way of all you lycra louts 😕 )

The pollster OUGHT to be disinterested. Neutrality is their business.

    But uninterested – there's a different matter.
    Yes, I will vote.

I thought that 3 days in Marrakech was too much.
It's full of hassle & dust. Not bad for a long weekend, though.
If you're going to Maroc for a week, then both Essaouria and the Atlas would be worth adding on to get out from the city. Expect to get the runs.

It's the unexpected benefits that projects can sometimes bring which surprise:
The L. Hadron Collider's forerunner, CERN, gave birth to the web/internet.
The space race, although willy-waving, gave skills in rocketry to put up satellites for GPS and communications protocols for mobile phones.

So the answer is sometimes yes, sometimes no.

As an older gentleman whose early experiences were with all-original foliage, I still find that trimmed bushes are slightly disturbing, and bald pussy quite off-putting. Natural is nicest, and I never have any trouble finding my way.

I know someone who could do it, and is interested.
    She is a) skint
b)Needs to write a book over the summer
    c) Has all that time available
    d) is utterly reliable

    Shall I mail you?

Just be prepared to ride the bike back.
They cancelled our return flight from Morocco last year, no relief flight put on.

They did offer us free seats on the next flight with available places. It's a shame we'd have had to wait for 4 weeks to get them, though….

Long-term, rinsing with strong salty water isn't a great idea because you can't help swallowing some and too much sodium is bad for you.
Short-term, it's good for mouth hygiene.

For mouth ulcers, I sometimes put a tiny bit of table salt directly onto the ulcer using the end of a sharp knife as a spatula. It hurts like hell for a few minutes, but the ulcer starts to heal very quickly.
