Excluding land costs, only about £100k, if that.
If pre-fab timber works in Sweden, it could easily work here: better insulated and quicker too.

    Mozilla Thunderbird?
I've been considering this – if you get it to work, please let me know.

Yes, I definitely feel broody when I'm with babies or small children. I'd have like more kids, still would, but Mrs M is a few years too old now. Either that or I'm firing blanks.

But if a broody 30-something woman came my way, who knows?

Mrs M is there already, drinking redbull & vodka under the campervan awning.

What I meant was that a high protein diet can lead to foamy pee because of the excretion products, not that there's actual protein in it. High nitrogen, especially like BD's sausage or hams. I'd not worry about it at all.

it depends what I've been eating & drinking.
IIRC, lots of protein = foamy bowl.

What has their sex got to do with it? He asked three trespassers to stop, and got angry when they didn't.

It sounds fair enough to me.

The importance of this inquiry reflects the importance of the events: all above have mentioned the subsequent IRA actions / atrocities. These were legitimised and in many cases prompted (in Noraid & republican minds) by the events of Bloody Sunday. The IRA recruited heavily following it, the Widgery Report was a whitewash and only served to help them.

The best wedding I went to had a total of 8 people (9 including the registrar).
The couple booked themselves in for the day, and invited 2 sets of friends which included Mrs M & me, plus another couple & their 2 kids. They didn;t tell us about the wedding, just to come for a lunch at a nice pub.
At 2pm they asked us to come for a short walk with them which turned out to be to the registry office; then we went off to a good resto for the evening.

Very romantic, great fun, no fuss, quite cheap.

Hmm. I could do with a spare harness, as I'm using my daughter's.
Tell me more. email in profile.

I've just bought our second, and love it.
Much depends on how many it's for and your budget. Vans better than coach-built motorhomes for sneaky sleeping in laybys, etc. DOn't forget the folding shovel, either.

Tell us more about what you want it for….

I've been happy with my HTC Desire over the last 2 months, didn't like the iphones I've played with.

The apps I've downloaded work well (apart from the one where everything is in Polish), and it has the advantage that I can buy & carry spare batteries if I'm out of charging distance for some time. It's not bad as a phone, either

As an ex water softener salesman (for industry, not domestic purposes) I'd say snake-oil.

I'd say take it back while you can, especially if it's one where you have to add salt, as this raises the sodium levels.

But if you have to keep it, agree what a wonderful idea its pruchase was.

BD- does this mean you are moving to Bristol?
    Gosh.
I guess I owe you a drink or two.

Is she actually trekking, or just travelling? Often a roller-bag would do the job and allow her to pull the weight, not carry it. Some have shoulder-straps too.

I know it's a bit "when I were a lad", but Mrs M & I managed 18 months with old army kitbags which must have only held about 40L. And one guy was travelling India with just a day-pack's worth. He didn't smell, either.

    No change there.
My parents still have an old family recipe book from the C19th, with a child's sleeping medicine that's basically opium, alcohol and sugar.

    I'm sure it worked

Following a fuel-tank/ road bump interface, our campervan was parked in the street on the industrial estate for 3 days with no probs, last year.
    Your car will be fine.
Try where we left ours – just by the station, the other side from the town.

I was up that way last week.
Very lovely, but make sure you have your lighter, it's a long way to the shops.

Also, check yourself for ticks regularly. I collected lots in Morvern, including one very attached to my right testicle.

The Colston Hall is fine for most types of music, as above.
If I have to drive I usually find a place on Perry Row, close by – I've no idea why spaces appear there.

Otherwise I walk from home. 🙂
The risk of car / bike theft is overstated – but if you're worried about leaving the bike in your car, dump it with us overnight if you want.

My M&S suits are OK. The Italian one fits me well, and the cheapo one happened to be my size at £15 in a charity shop!

If she knows about the ring, she knows you're going to propose.

It won't be a surprise unless you ask someone else entirely.

How about after a good BJ ?

Auntie C-G, you have too high an opinion of men.

Restaurants = get you drunk without you noticing
Cooking for you = you won't taste the Rohypnol

I dunno about proportions, but a female "friend of a friend" who has registered with an encounter site (i.e. sex rather than relationships) says she gets about a dozen propositions a day. Which I guess keeps her busy.

In case you need any reassurance, BD, I have it on good authority from a woman who is single (probably), good looking (in my opinion) and not too mental, that you are not bad looking and good fun for a night out.

    So you'll do OK.

    I not knocking Newport, BUT
when I worked there, we referred to the main river bridge as Ugly Bridge because of the average standard of beauty crossing it was so low.

    That never happened.
Swords were very expensive and only the rich could afford them – the poor carried knives or sticks, so the question is meaningless. Often the law prohibited lower rank citizens (wealthy merchants, for example) from carrying swords so the nobles could protect themselves better.

Teej, Ton is right, you just do not understand the visceral & violent love that children can bring out in a father.
But rather than threaten violence (initially) your daughter ought to keep a log & inform the ploice & school of all incidents, so they may get around to visiting the parents. I'd recommend your girl keeps up with the martial arts, though.

I can't see the difference, myself.
But I can see that there's a difference between arriving home to a cold beer & a hot bath, and getting to a station and finding you've an hour wait before the next train (or you've missed the last one) , then a train journey & another ride to your house.
