It's not MTB, but there's the Fishponds Tunnel on the Bristol-Bath cyclepath. I think that the Two Tunnels group is trying to open another S of Bath, towards Radstock.

Can't see what the problem is. I think it's you, not the other people.
It's a changing room, people get changed in there. They take clothes off, put clothes on. They may even walk to the showers naked. Big deal. There's no space in the cubicles and they tend to get damp.

At school in the 60s we always reckoned that the few boys who used the cubicles were the poofs (sorry about the 60s terminology) – and how would you cope with a rugby-club style communal bath?

Hotmail apparently has recently been tweaked and gives problems on a number of browsers, so it may not just be your Android system that's at fault.
Try installing another browser, Opera or Dolphin, then trying again.

    Chez Jules.
Very good basic French brasserie stuff, excellently done, cheapish, eye-candy staff.(Both sexes)

So good that we went back for a second meal there the following evening.

    Red bottles are propane
Dunno about the others, but they're colour-coded
I think blue is butane, grey is a mixture

    b. They may not have noticed they tyres or are hoping they won't be nicked, but bald tyres are unsafe especially in the wet.
Beemer drivers aren't known for being the most considerate so there's a more-than-average chance of them mowing someone down: if they don't get the tyres seen to it's your civic duty to report, mean as it seems.

I'm in sales, sort-of, and it's invaluable. I've also had job offers from it.
A friend who was unemployed had numerous consultancy projects & enquires through it, as headhunters use it lots for research. It doesn't really work until you've got 20+ connections except for the job board included.

Make sure that the information you put on it is more or less the same as on the CV you send out to employers as HR is likely to check it out.

Ask your bezzie contacts to give you some references, job done.

(This will take time & effort, but prob worth it for professional-type people)

I used to work as a contractor at a number of MoD sites.
At one naval base, in the PO's mess, there was a polished turd in a glass case.

It was a shiny, plated, dried turd that had once passed through the beloved bowels of HRH Elizabeth the Queen Mother. As you know, Royalty cannot pass motions in the same facilities as the rest of us, so they require specially installed ones when they make official visits to the haunts of their subjects.

So our inventive Petty Officers had installed a Royal Poo Trap in the loo supplied for HRH's use, and had extracted and dried and mounted and POLISHED the royal turd.

It was still a turd, however.

    So there.

Wikipedia being bollox in that case about Chiropractic.

Spinal and other joint manipulation can deffo help. Forget the mumbo-jumbo, in the UK they are mostly properly trained.

My back & leg pains were fixed by manipulation. One treatment was to alter the tilt of my pelvis to even up the lengths of my legs which had over 1" difference. It worked, I walk better.

If it's not unique, look elsewhere.

Alternatively, make them an offer of £220k now, let them know you will reduce this offer in another month.

Nah, IGN, they are better than OS for reading trails- they stand out more. The paper isn't great quality though.

So far this year: One from Purbeck
Lots from NW Scotland: Sunart, Morvern, Glen Coe.
The bites itch, but unless you've got a fever I can't see that antibiotics are appropriate. No wonder Garry's doc was unwilling to prescribe.

Sitting in a van door with my feel on the ground at one parking spot near Bridge of Orchy, I watched 4 of the little evils start crawling up my bare legs. Ugh.

After a ride/ push in Morvern's deer territory I later removed one fat tick from my testicle and another from my armpit. Others were in less remarkable locations.

    All good suggestions, thanks.
I'm not fixated on the surfing/watersports, so France might be an option.
Can you recommend any tour operators that I'd fit into?

I walked across fields to my aunt's place. They had a TV.

In the morning I walked home across the school playing fields & saw bunnies. They were rare in those post-myxomitosis days.

I heard what Armstrong actually said, and not what was reported.

Mid '80s, climbing up Mt Etna in Sicily with Mrs M.
She was wearing what was then a fashionable ladies boiler-suit (they weren't called that) and nothing else apart from knickers. Until a bee got inside the boiler-suit and stung her on the arse.

I have never seen her strip so quickly or without worrying about who else might be around. It was a big bee and an even bigger swelling. And presumably a surprise for the other tourists climbing the volcano.

** "IF" was at the boys' Cheltenham College, not the Ladies' one.
The chaps' ties are pink on black, echoing Eton's pale blue on black. It's not a bad town, I agree about Stroud being a bit hippy-ish.

Oh for god's sake, if someone wants to make a couple of bob on the side, let them. Don't be a petty arse.

Around here it's accepted that once something gets put outside, it's there for the taking. Which saves effort on going to the tip, sometimes.

We also have a couple of old blokes who go around collecting metal from skips. So what? They're poor, they make some extra money, where's the harm?

    You what?
That's why I paid £15k for a Fiat Ducato van, 6 metres and 3L turbo / 160hp of graphite loveliness.
And after conversion it was still less than a mid-range Beemer 5-series, but was complete with beds, kitchen, bathroom, roof windows, bike-rack, etc.
It's looking more like a bargain each week.

I lurk on Mumsnet when bored by both work & STW.
The Relationships threads are frighteningly addictive but make me wonder what the hell is going on in the world. So many problems, so few answers.
And lots of very explicit sex advice.

+2 for Mary bars. Only £20 on ebay /Priceshaggers for some colours.
I find them excellent for town and offroad.
Mrs M had shoulder pain for years when cycling with straight bars, the Marys fixed that.

    The Zoo's good.
Canal boats trips, SS Gt Britain. Skateboarding (if they have them) by Lloyds Bank, Chepstow Castle is a goodie, so is Caerphilly further away.
Kites on the Downs? Bikes on the Gorge cyclepath? Giant's Cave, arse-sliding by the bridge, St Werburgh's city farm (or Bemmie), drug-running in Easton to earn some pocket-money.

Where in Bristol will they be staying?
We did 3 house-swaps with Swedish families when our kids were that age and had very positive reports from the people who stayed here.

Compass, spirit level, The Guardian, Tube Map, Moon phase, OS Maps, Note Everything (I imported my Palm notes), StreamFurious for internet radio, an alternative to Laputa, MP3 Download, and (with a bit of searching) a cut-down version of skype for IM.

I can't take the oppressive crowds these days, but Mrs M is there stewarding being a hippy granny (although she's not, yet). Good music, good vibes, she says. Being in a very superior campervan instead of a tent helps, I reckon.

£180 for all those bands over 4 days? Absolute bargain!!
Compare that with a single gig from one of your better-known bands.
