We did this with a family on the North Shore about 14 years ago & had a great time. I visited Cove bikes before they started making their own frames, & bought a Norco from Whistler.
Our kids are past that age now, so good luck with finding a swap.

I junked most of my mouse mats recently as they weren’t being used. The relics are bing used as antivibration pads under the washing machine.
All the mats were trade show giveaways, not bought.

Would coasters or mug-mats sell better ?

    Ewan:

Never understand why people can say that middle age starts at 55 odd – you’re almost dead.

    Up yours, youngster!
I’m middle aged but nowhere near dead at 60. My dad rode a bike at 82 so I’ve got a long time left, I hope.

    Chris,
Where are you based? My daughter has been upgraded so we have a small Trek Fuel FS waiting to be sold for £300. Very little use, but about 5 years old, mostly spent in the shed while she was at uni.

It will be fine, unless the packet is distended with nasty gases. If it’s still flat, eat it.
    (disclaimer, if I’m wrong, tough)

So for babymaking, gentlemen should come first?
After all those years of holding back it does seem unfair.

You mean they broke into your house, ignored the dog, & knew where the bikes were kept?
    It’s a friend of a friend.

    Spot-on, Ernie.
Iran is also stuck between nuclear-armed Pakistan, US-occupioed Afghanistan & Iraq, & hostile Arab states, yet they are still non-belligerent.

They are understating their case. Coal mining is dangerous, killing something like 6 miners per week. (see the photo thread for memorials of some disasters)

    Did anyone die at Fukushima?

Usually a mobile network shop will transfer them for you, if you’re a customer or with that network. Carphone Whorehouse & Vado have both done that for me in the past.

Very nice indeed. I’ve walked some of this with Mrs M, when we did the Chemin de Stevenson a few years ago. There was snow above 1500m in early May.
The bike looks just about perfect for the mix of road & light trail.

Stoner, that looks a lovely trail & scenery. Where is it?

So, an older neighbour was having a whisky in the late afternoon. He offered a tiny taster to the girl he was babysitting. Nothing untoward happened.

What the hell are you worried about? Much ado about nothing, if you ask me. Next you’ll be suing a garage when you trip over a kerb.

What can I say? If I were in the market I’d definitely give you a call.
With a smile like that you’ll do OK in Oz or UK, there are millions of men out there.

getting over a fairly serious drug habit of his, mental health issues and him being out of work.

Perhaps you’ll look back & think you’re best out of it.
Aelaide’s nice, & a big city with enough space for you not to need your ex, give it a few more weeks & you’ll meet some mates for coffee & chat & even riding.

PS – I am young, handsome, rich & fit. Possibly a bit of a liar, but not a lying ****.

    Could you kick him instead?

Now all we need is the phone number of Tall’s mate at work and we’ll be happy.

Sealskinz, please. They’re waterproof & hold it in better.

What’s the problem with women with a history? Men have them too.
If she likes you enough to have a relationship that should be enough. You don’t have to be the best in bed she’s ever had, any more than you need to be the tallest / richest / fastest. Just right for her at that time.

The 50s are back, are they?

The latter tends to hold off giving up the goods I bet.

It’s not a matter of “giving up the goods”, it’s a matter of fancying a shag with a nice chap called Martin. A woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to get it, is a much better bet than someone who is “Holding out” in some sort of false modesty about being thought a slapper.

Not that I’d know, being married & that.

Just buy a fatbike on your way up, & you’ll be fine.
But I’m interested in news of the weather thataway, too. Is there still lying snow in the N Pennines?

9./ Some areolas are hairy – even women’s

Many women have hair on their areolas, but remove it because of social expectations. I remember being extremely put out at the age of 19 when a lady friend proved to have a hairier chest than i did at the time.
    🙂

On t’other hand, 3rd nipples aren’ that uncommon on larger-bosomed women. I’ve met two, which is a large % of the ladies I have studied closely. (I blame the early 70s)

Libreoffice will do almost everything which MS Office does.
(This is a newer version of OpenOffice. Google the difference between them)

For simpler work, look at Google Docs and / or Zoho Office.
I think zoho also may have a free accounts package too.

Mrs M took her M.Ed there, which was well run. The OU is probably the best set-up for distance learning, as other institutions are more focussed on attended courses. The lectureres I’ve met there for work purposes seem pretty good.
    Go for it.

SS gets most use as is cheap to maintain

What you really mean is that it’s the most fun, otherwise you’d have cannibalised it.
So keep that one going first, then the raod bike since it’s ver different, & mothball the others until you’ve found the right 2nd hand parts to fix them.

But have you thought of the perks? All those women who will happily (?) hop into bed with you and who hope to bear your brood of dictator children?

Not WWII, but I can top Carlo’s story.
At the start of WWI my grandfather was a guard at Hartlepool docks, a very important coal port at the time.
He was courting my granny at the time, & swapped shifts with a mate to take her out.
The German fleet shelled Hartlepool that night, & his mate was the first person killed on British soil in WWI. There’s now a monument to mark the spot.

Rob went on to win a MM, next bravery award down from a VC.

    Dates please?

We did this when the kds were little for about 12 years on the trot in pre-internet days, which involved lots of letter-writing & expensive calls. It’s much easier nOW.
It’s great, cheap, and you get much more accommodation than in a holiday let. We swapped with families in the UK for single weeks or weekends, and for fortnights in Sweden (3x), Germany (several), France & Canada (2x each). Highly recommended!

Postie – are you taking your statins now?? I hope so.

Most of Morocco will be as hot as Egypt.
I’d suggest Eastern Europe, where there will be some trains as well as buses, fewer hassles and not so much bloody desert between places of interest.
