1) – Nanty is a goer! IF we make a weekend of it, hows about staying in Aberystwyth meet up fri night go for a few sherberts, ride out on Sat with various routes etc for different paces. Sat night is a meal / p*** up then a ride on Sunday at circa 11 for a few hours before we trundle off home? I’d suggest the later on in the month / maybe early feb as then the students are back and its a good atmosphere (I’m Aber Alumni)

2) – IT IS THE 1ST DECEMBER, NOT THE 30th NOV!!!!! (if that makes a difference to anyone!

binners – would love to…but I can’t do weekends pre xmas and need to invest in some lights (and get some fitness / skills from somewhere!)

How’s about keep it as a social and arrange a proper ride out in Jan? I know it is a long way off, but gives us all time to book it in the diary and then we could do something AWESOME like Nanty or Coed-y-Brenin or something…?

I have just, after 337 hours and 35 mins succumbed to a smoke.

Work stress-related.

I felt good at the time, but now feel like a shell of a human. dissappointed with myself, feel guilty, told MsMorgs and got the ‘i’m dissappointed’ rather than the shouting and screaming (which is far worse as we all know) and now I need a rollicking by you lot.

Come on – no holds barred…..flame me to my very core.

I was 15 on average, if working the doors then 30, if out drinking then I dread to think.

in the vast majority of cases, I have paid money into someone’s account and the goods have arrived a few days later.

for more local items, I’ve gone down the ‘lets meet up in a carpark route.

EDIT – as for cheques, I normally post them off, let them clear then send / expect the goods to be sent.

Khani – i’ve not been so much tired, as still struggling to sleep. used to always sleep through, now waking up quite a few times in the night for no reason.

Also, MsMorgs says I snore. REALLY badly. Now, although MsMorgs is a relatively recent addition to MorgsWorld, I have never had complaints about snoring before.

Any similar complaints from your bed-partners?

I think Camo, Binners, Khani et al will all agree that magnificence pales into insignificance next to awesomeness.

Ive been away since Thursday. I was helping out at my sisters school on Friday in my Royal Britiah Legion persona. Had a lovely weekend away with the better half and my sister & nro-in-law (first time introductions). Could have been a very stressful weekend but no smokes here!

I’m a fortnight smokefree on Tuesday. Go us!

Real Steel – 6/10
typical underdog boxing film a la rocky(s), but worth a watch.

Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy last night. 8/10. Superb acting, well written and involving. Looks as though it was filmed in the 70s. Britain looked like an outpost of the Soviet Union. Was that really how the country looked 40 years ago? I just found the depiction of the UK very intriguing. In my memory it was only a bit like it looked in the film. Very good, brain food. I’m just not quite as taken with it as the critics seem to have been. And that is more a question of critics than the film. I highly recommend it.

Completely agree. Thought it was fantastic yet a few of my friends thought it a waste of a couple of hours of their lives. I think you need to have quite a deep interest in the subject to really value the film.
