Don’t know anything about skiing / boarding apart from my missus is good at the ski side of things and my bro-in-law likes boarding….

So thought I’d give it a go. Bought an O’Neil coat and some O’Neil gloves in the sales (happy to get £250’s worth of kit for £70!) and going to do one of those ‘learn to ski in a day’ courses at the SnowDome or Chill FactorE, then go once or twice a month until next winter when I’ll go for my first trip.

Does anyone have any advice about these courses?

I’ll give you that, but the games wales lost, well….they lost them – the opponents didn’t win (if you know what I mean). I think the 6 nations will be where they pull through to the higher end of the table.

As a team, can they do it? Of course they can! They have some cracking talent and can play well against any of the other teams. Will they? I’d love to say yes, but I think they may just throw it away with a few stupid mistakes (think S.Jones not dropping for goal, Halfpenny in the Aus game, Warburton’s sending off that wasn’t etc)

@clubber…I dunno – ’05 & ’08 are sticking in my mind! I think welsh squad for squad, the current team are better!

I’ve got an Android Zepad with the same spec (ish) but a 10.1″ screen – be better for films…?

Just quickly (from a welshman)

1) France – don’t like saying it, but they are insufferable and can see them doning in much to my chagrin
2) Wales (strongest of the home nations at the mo IMO)
3) Ireland (older team, but can’t take much away from them)
4) England (do I need to explain why?)
5) Italy (getting better every year)
6) Scotland (Sorry, TJ, but I think the Italians have it over you)

I used to work in the trade (4-5 years ago) and every used car HAD to be sold with a MINIMUM 3 months warranty.

Read the booklet, but be careful as a lot of stuff isn’t covered.

Also, all cars needed to be inspected before sale. Ask to see the inspection report?

We are suited and booted when we’re out meeting clients, but when in the office its a shirt and trousers (apart from dress down Friday).

but I’ve just finished watching Band of Brothers. Emotive to the high and an excellent watch. Not sure if its available on blu ray yet, but well worth it if they haven’t seen it. First time i wept infront of the missus watching the end of it hat was :roll:

Most bling bling-shops will understand that you are male and therefore incompetant at buying items like this! As such, when you purchase, they will give you a receipt that will entitle you to a refund / exchange* so she can laugh at your ineptitude then sort our the mess later. Head off to Beaverbrooks…they’ve always been excellent with me. It also helps if you come across like a complete simpleton and ask questions like “can you help pick one of those metal things birds put on their fingers when I want to marry them…i think its got to have some kind of carbon on it too”.

* don’t go for a custom made one! Esecially in the shape of your favourite bike.
