Despite a couple of promising sounding chats through the Amazon online system, nothing happened except multiple password changes.
Amazon deleted all the orders from my account so there was no way of returning the items I received. Their last communication was that they could not return or refund as items had come from Amazon marketplace and was to seek refund from credit card.
Thankfully, credit card company have refunded amounts with no hassle.
On the plus side, I how have a cheap smart watch that gets amazing 5* reviews!!

Just happened to me as well. Got email notifications through for 3 orders which I had not placed – replacement iphone screen, generic smart watch. Initially assumed the emails were phishing fakes but then first order was delivered.
Just got an email giving details about a 5* review I had given for one of the orders that I had yet to be delivered.
Account security details now changed and amazon web chat eventually got details passed onto their fraud department but havn’t heard anything other than confirmation that password has been reset.
Seems to be about fake product reviews.

…and I thought this thread was going to be about the marshall who was saying it was 4 miles to the 50 mile feed stop when it was just around the corner!

Agree totally about the gel wrappers. Gives organised events a bad image when you turn up at forest a week or so after and find litter everywhere. No excuse really as bins available at every water/feed stop round the course.

Endura hummvee’s got pockets big enough for a map (and enough other pockets for virtually anything else you can think off). Singletracks are slimmer fitting.

Was at Drumlanrig last weekend and Rik confirmed it was going ahead. He said he was going to try and get some details out this week. Sure he will post details up here.

Looking forward to it with 10@kirro not happening.

Another big thumbs up from me. Live in Ayr and would be perfect for midweek rides.

    Good luck.

I use google calendar which easily syncs with my phone. I then use google calendar sync at work to keep outlook synced with google calendar. All seems to work reasonably well.

    google calendar sync

Easy to share calendars in google as well if you want to view wife’s calendar and vice versa

I’m lazy and lack motivation, what can I do to prolong bearing life?
Stop washing your bike so much. We did some experiments with bikes that were washed a lot but ridden infrequently, bikes that were ridden a lot but washed infrequently, and bikes that were both washed and ridden a lot. Guess what? Your bike hates only being washed and not being ridden. This test group had the worst results. They became creaky and not much fun to be around, much like the people who own bikes like that. Don’t get all angry (you know who you are), you can still wash your bike from time to time – and there are those times where it has to be done after every ride. Everything needs more attention during those times. BUT, maybe you should examine your priorities. It’s a mountain bike. You can get dirt on it. It’s OK.

Many thanks, suitably reassured now. 🙂

Almost a pity, there are some nice prices around at the moment on new rock shox!

Thanks BIkeneil, frame now different to the one in the guide. No longer has the pinch bolts on the swingarm. Will contact Jungle at the beginning of the week.

Frame bearings have only lasted 6 months. Is that normal??

After years of feeling really low over winter, last year was really bad. Went for one of these in end.

    Philips golite

Feeling a definate improvement in motivation and energy this year compared to same time last year. Regular exercise really helps me, but this seems to help find a little more motivation to get out.
