Does it have to be self catering as i have always stayed at Glentress hotel at the bottom of the trails. Something like £35 B&B plus you can get an evening meal there to or a couple of quid in a taxi to Peebles.

Infact looking at there website they do self catering now aswell, Inners is 5 miles away.

I though it was excellent route. Did the 85km and crawled my way round in 7hr 37mins. Severe back ache from the climbs but really loved the downhills. Even all the gloopy mud downhills were a scream.
Went OTB on the tight twisty trail that led onto caddon bank in one of those slow comical moments.

Only complaint was that there was no entertainment on sat afternoon, went to Pentrith in 07 and they had displays on so ended up in the pub all afternoon 😳

Also saw the tandem when at the feed stop at the bottom of inners. 😀

Beagles are a pain IMHO they are good looking dogs but too far strong willed and will do things when they want to. Have looked after many over the years.
My weapon of choice is border collie, she was involved in an RTA and never claimed so took her in. really good with kids, the other dogs and cats.

My wife is a vet nurse and recommends Pet Plan but not the budget policy. She says the intermediate policy is usually plenty.

Beware yearly policies as for example if your dog suffers an injury or illness within that year, then the following year when you come to re new your policy they won't cover that condition, other companies will not cover also as they consider it a pre existing condition.

Also stay right away from a company called E+L if you ever want your money back.

Pet plan seem to come out a little more expensive than the rest but never put their premiums up based on your claim. They do it on the area and I think it's been a good few years since they increased their premiums or excess. Most other companies put theirs up yearly.

Hope this is of some use to you.

I use one of those plastic paint kettles(plastic tub with a handle) from B&Q for about £1. A bit of parrafin in there and a 1″ paint brush. Only do it once a month.
Leave the dirty parrafin in the paint kettle then when stripping parts for maintenance then they go straight in for a clean before going back on bike aswell.
Obvious the parrafin can take the lube out of freehubs and bearings so maintain these to suit. Everything nice and blingy, happy days.

Wife knew a place that did dirt cheap part worns. Apparently they are only used for a couple of miles so virtually brand new and for £25 each. Bargain, off she goes, £100 later comes home over the moon. ‘you can really hear the grip on them’ she says. Yep, snow tyres 😆 like knobblys on a road bike.Used them though and although abit noisy have been ok for running around on a 2.0 Ford Focus.

£9.60 something a month with mobile contract. Free wireless router, no faults so far and very good speeds with no download/upload limit.
I joined in January and got 3 months free on a 12 month contract.

Have been using webwiz forums for years now with around 100 active members at any time.
Using the free package uploaded onto our hosting site and not had any problems yet. The only time it went down was host issues not the forum software

High Rollers being discontinued?! Where did you hear this?
High Rollers must be their most popular tyre?

One of the lads in our bike club were onto Maxxis about something and came back with this.
I have also been told conti verticals are being discontinued aswell, for those who like them.

I was led to believe that these were the replacement tyres for the high rollers since they have been discontinued. Supposedly just as grippy as HR yet roll better.
