For me its all about the experience, a wild camp with “proper food”, perhaps some sliced Chorizo a hand full of olives, is my preference over “space food”

Weight is relative in my view, get your pack weight down with the essentials and make room for good food and some treats.

Picked up a berghaus stop jacket and a light weight pack, good value, no technical help though but I guess its not that what you are looking for in the place.

Good stock levels and smiley staff as well

A few weeks ago I cooked up some fresh Chicken Pillaf, bagged it up and froze it.

On the hill warmed through with a little water nothing I have had on the hill has even come close.

My pals enjoyed it as well.

I was a fan of these dehydrated meals but I now cook, bag and freeze fresh.

    Each too their own though.

LED lighting combined with fibre optic, low voltage, low energy, low maintenance.

I did my home up last year and regret not considering it.

Its not about being grumpy at all, a well done party and loads of fun is what life is all about.

But does it need the pressure of fake tans, £200 dress, car hire, ice swans ………….etc

Life in this country appears to be more style over substance.

Lots of people want to be “famous” have their fame, live it up large, now I am not stick in the mud but where will it end, toddlers parties with limos……………don’t get me on the subject of party bags, I’ll be here all day

just as a side issue there is always fibre optic lighting, no volt drop there me thinks

Another case of what yanks do and fill our kids heads with we do also.

Proms for gods sake, what is wrong with a “disco”, food and a fumble round the bike sheds.

Pandering to kids wants is all well and good for those who have the money, for those who do not its yet more of a burden and lot letting your kid do without.

So in my view its all a bit shallow

See above my post regarding industrial LED lighting, it is a modern practical and efficient way of lighting.

Believe me it does work if planned and executed correctly.

I have used these guys for lift interior lighting, they are a good bunch and should be able to help.

Its is going to be an “industrial solution” you need, LED with relatively low current draw will be the best solution I feel.

when I got my wolf ridge the rear mech failed and the headset sang and squeaked like I don’t know what within a week.

I took it straight back to the shop on a Saturday afternoon and demanded a replacement……………..and I got one.

get the pictures out of the little fella, check size, colour and disposition and get down to the pet shop for a fresh one, top tip regards size: too big and say he must have found a food store! too small and crack on how much the young un needs to feed the fella up.

    It might work ……………..

Its all about knowing your hound and winding back your ride, when I am out with Monty having the fella with you is a joy, but I do rest him a lot and take food as well as stopping for water a lot.
