Oh contraire, I’m sure he knew exactly what it meant. No Need Mr Tevez, no need.

That sign was in reference to the Untitled manager when asked if City would ever overtake the Untitled and win the Premier League replied in his usual arrogant way “Not in my lifetime” so not quite what it seems but I would like to say that was a properly crap sign and I would prefer it if Mancini got rid of Carlos Tevez.

Who gives a flying one about 19 titles, 100 years, weak team, goal difference blah, blah

    “The title is ours
    The title is ours
We won it in Fergie Time….
    The title is ours!”

I didn’t think I could have been happier than I was hugging Aguero but did you see the faces of the Untitled fans on Match of the Day when somebody dropped a wet one….or was it something else? A Goal? At Eastlands?….. They’ve won!

    Arrrgghhhh!
    The title is ours.
The ti- come on now you Never Goes….sing along (swap ours for yours though) 🙂

Hi have a headache, a sore throat and the embarrasment to live down of my 14 year old daughter seeing me run on the pitch, hug Aguero and come back to our seats blubbering like a baby.
    I don’t care.

I had a phone call from Paul’s Cycles this morning. No more of the Supersix 2011 105’s left…..would I be happy to take the 2012 model (upgraded wheels from uber cheap Shimano to mavic Askium) for the same price?
    MINT!

Thanks for the correction Martyn. I always refer to The Beast (I hate the silly names) as Hagg farm from Hope Cross.
Who doesn’t ride it (Jacob’s Ladder) and says it isn’t technical? I do, quite often and apart from the top section which requires some commitment and momentum, it isn’t.

If the Hagg Farm track is the descent from Hope Cross , I’m very definitely sticking with my own opinion that in comparison, it is way more difficult to ride than Jacobs Ladder.

    monksie

Easier. Much easier. The very top of Jacobs is the only technical bit and it’s not that bad. The rest of it is a not very technical at all descent (unless you’re doing it as climb, in which case it’s a lot of walking).

I is crapping myself. If any club could bollocks it up on a grand scale it’s us.
United have been a poor shadow of themselves this season but yet it has still come down to us needing to do as well as or better than them in the last game of the season.
I am really worried. I might not go to the match. My daughter (and fellow season ticket holder) is near to tears.

Thanks again everyone. I’ve bought a 54cm Cannondale Super Six 105 from Paul’s Cycles.

CP! I could hug you! I have another question. What Shimano compatible road wheels for £400’ish?
CAAD 10 – 105 from Paul’s Cycles and some nice wheels.

    monksie

CAAD 10 in Liquigas colours. Less than £1300. I’m hovering over the buy button. I hadn’t thought of Ribble, thank you.
Izoard is lovely but the groupset worries me. No longer a serial upgrader. I have to go through an intermediary if I want money for stuff and she doesn’t understand my need for new stuff.
Cevelo would have beem snapped up if it was a full bike but thanks anyway.
Are you not getting on with the Planet X frame sefton?

Chrsit on a bike ohno! Even my meds. can’t fight the depression your miserable moaning induces.
Try and go a day without being one little bit negative. You might like it.
    Then again, you probably won’t.

It all comes down to money and how much each company will have to spend to get this sorted.
While you are emotionally involved with a sense of justice, honesty etc. the insurance companies are purely looking at this as numbers.
I’d be looking to see how it was going to cost me financially and if the answer was loads, I’d be kicking and screaming. If not much, I’d let it go and move on.

Me. Rapid cycling. My family hate it more than I do. I had an ‘issue’ with my lymph system which after a long course of treatment led to a few discussions about other things. Two very determined suicide attempts in my younger days, erractic job history, inability to retain relationships (my fault nearly always), erractic personality traits ranging from life and soul happy to “where’s he gone?” no longer exists type of thing….
Highs were harder than the lows. She knows where I am and I’m safe’ish when I’m catatonic. The highs on the other hand were hell.
I say were as I was diagnosed almost two years ago and my meds. are pretty much sorted now. I am really stable, I have a superb GP who interacts expertly with my consultant and the crisis team who, although only used twice are completely on it.
My hospital is Stepping Hill which normaly gets slaughtered. I think it’s mint.
    I guess my points are:
I am what I am and it is what it is. I didn’t ask for blue eyes but I have them. I didn’t ask to be mental but I am. It’s **NOT** not fair, it just is what it is.
People who care for you will sometimes wish they didn’t. It’s harder for them. They have a choice. You don’t. When you can, try to be good to them. They need you to be well when you can be.
Do all you can when you can to get a team who work for you. These people (medical) do it because they want to. They are great people and I thank them all. Except Beverley Allitt.

Noooo, stay off the A626 in rush hour. Chocca all the way from Chestergate through Hall St, Offerton Lane, Marple Rd and all the way up to Marple.

I ride the A6 through Stockport every mid week evening. From Manchester all the way through to the Rising Sun in Hazel Grove in a car….hell. As soon as you go left at the Rising Sun, it’s no bother. I’d give it an hour and 10 mins. Maybe a touch more.

Thanks for the bump up fella’s. I do need to get a route organised. A kind chap sent me a GPX file of a route that was done over three days that takes in some of the scenic roads but I can’t afford the detours.
I’ve been busy ordering a new bike. Well, I went to Evans for some insoles and my wife bought me a Colnago!

Thanks for the replies. Size 9 feet. I’m a boring Mr Average in all my dimensions. I’m not aware my feet are either narrow or wide. How can you tell?
“My feet used to ache, in the same place, only when cycling though, anything above a 45 min ride brought it on.” Boom! That’s me! No pain at any other time or in any other shoes.
    Arch issues then?
I’ll have a look at the Bontrager and superfeet etc inserts. I’ll think about going to see somebody about my feet as IHN has suggested and plead with the Director of Household Finance for some money to pay for it if it comes to it.
I’m heartened that I’m not the only person to suffer with this although that’s mean of me. Sorry Marsdenman.
Thanks again. You are all still mint.
For some (snobby) reason, I can’t bring myself to try touring or trainer shoes, especially on my road bike.
I’m going to get some road pedals and shoes. I’m using eggbeater and mountain bike shoes on all my bikes because I have to carry my bike up 8 flight of stairs most days at work. I’d break myself doing it with road cleats.
ps. big ride is getting closer.

    Thank you NBT

I have a 100 mile steady road ride early tomorrow morning to Chester and back and a long steady Peak District ride on Sunday if anybody local to me fancies either or both?
I’m starting to argue with myself now, I’ve been doing that much riding on my own I’ve gone past talking to myself.
6:30am tomorrow and a much more friendly 8:30am start on Sunday. Off road ride will be to Macc. Forest, Goyt Valley, PBW, Perryfoot, Pindale and back to Stockport by what ever route that isn’t Jacobs Ladder.
