[quoteAre the police so lazy that they can’t be **** to carry their boomsticks with a sling, like good old fashioned squaddies? A gun in a safe is no use what so **** ever if it all suddenly kicks off. [/quote]

]Erm, no. There are certain rules within legislation that mean we can only deploy “armed” in certain circumstances.

So our vehicles have gun boxes in the rear where our “carbines” are stored. If it kicks off we always carry our sidearms. Its complicated.

What’s her answer when you ask her ?

I work away from home, plus the fact I look like a greek god means she often worries

(only joking, it has come up in conversation from time to time. Often was perhaps the wrong word)

Whistling. Anyone who whistles a merry little tune, in any location, deserves to die horribly.

I had to leave B&Q once because the sound of some old git whistling was carrying over the entire store.

Yes, I am aware that I have a problem.

We used to have one of those. His nickname was “Thrush”
He once asked why when he found out, “is it because I sound like a songbird?”
The reply, “no, you are an irritating c*n*”

Wow. What an amazing car. I would have hated to be a mechanic in the UK back in the 70s used to fixing escorts and cortinas only to be faced with that!!
Well done on helping the driver too buddy. Karma will reward.
    Hope you are well BTW.

Never shat, but a few years ago girlfriend and family invited us to the Food And Drink show at the NEC. However the night before we got really drunk. Next day (at the show) I am walking around with the hangover from hell. Gets to a point where I need to vomit, the girlfriend handed me something quick to puke in, which it turns out is a clear plastic bin bag.
We didn’t last long after that. :P

If you are close to Keswick pop into the tourist info place at the Moot Hall. They have free suggestions for walks, the waterfall walks are quite good.

Rose and Kinesis owner here. You don’t hear much of Rose in the UK but Fin (Rose UK) has always been great. Kinesis make lovely bikes.

Chumba bikes got some bad press before they folded.

After the Dave Hinde debacle cyclists in the know always raise an eyebrow whenever the name is mentioned.

Hello Donk. I am an Admin for NWMBA, we have worked closely over the years with both walking groups, National Trust and others.

I can’t see a problem with what you propose to do. Done the Llanberis route up and rangers down loads of times. Look for a right close to the bottom of the rangers path which takes you along the Telegraph Path back to Llanberis.

    Enjoy. :-)

Up until recently Ju jitsu (traditional, none of this brazillian nonsense) but a back injury has put a stop to that :(

Just starting on setting up my own business so that has taken up a lot of time/cash. Nearly there, just some minor details and I should be up and trading in a couple of months. :D

I ran a 52 plate WRX STI saloon for a while a few years ago. I loved the car, it was brilliant to drive, great in the snow/bad weather. But, I got about 21-25 mpg. It was tuned but it was the sort of car that loved to be driven. Parts were a bit steep, especially cambelt changes.
If I was young and foolish (again) I would love another. Funnily enough just watched the top gear special with hammond driving one, looks like a fair sized rear.

STW should be given the franchise for speed awareness, 1/2 a day playing Grand Theft Auto on the PS4, beer and pizza.

Think of the knowledge we can pass on to all the cr#p drivers.

As well as the coastal path you have the Coppermine Trail. This is more towards the north of the island/amwlch/cemaes bay and is (apparently) rideable ( never done it, so don’t hold me to that!). Loads of good wild camping around church bay/cemlyn bay. The fish n chip shop in Cemaes is excellent.

The all day breakfast at the Wylfa Power Station visitor center cafe is worth a detour. (took the little ‘un in last year when it was hoofing down)

If you need bike spares I think Valley has a very small bike/Canoe shop.

Hope the weather is good and enjoy. :-)

As above mate. I take it this is your property the coach has damaged. Remedial action is probably the only option, stop the coaches entering (if you can) Ask the bus/coach companies to drop people off outside. Sign up advising no coaches past the point.

Bit underhand by the coach company mind, unless you can contact them direct and explain the damage and the knock on effects.

The Teapot Cafe just on the left by the turn off for Prestatyn on the A55 is worth a look at too.

Once on Anglesey try the Lobster Pot in Church Bay for food. The Fish n chip shop in Cemaes Bay is worth a visit too but has some odd opening times.

The coastal path is great to walk and if you go to Amlwch the Coppermine Trail is good. If you take the bikes some of this can be ridden.
