Whinlatter is a free car park. I have a friend who lives there, the car parks are paid for via their council tax. This was agreed when the centre was opened. The charge at the centre is voluntary, you do not have to pay. Occasionaly you may get what appears to be a fine on your windscreen, it isn’t. It is a reminder that you could have paid.

When he visits he never pays, as he already has via his council tax. I was quite shocked when I heard this, but I pay the minimum when I visit, that way the centre gets something.

    The wife :D

Each time I get new bits for the bike, the wife gets a similar amount spent on her. Good job I manage to lose 50% of the real cost…. :-)

How about a Whyte 905. Winstanley Bikes have some on offer at the moment. Not as much travel (120mm) but a nice bike.

As njee says, see if the airline has a facebook page, then raise the issue on there.
You seem very cool about it all, don’t think i would be so tolerant. I would be camped on their check in at the airport with a suitably worded placard.

Good lord, I remember axe attack. I recall Paranoid and a Van Halen track, can’t remember anything else from it though.

And with those, you just know that they cry themselves to sleep, alone, every night. Filled with self-loathing after binging on chocolate and chardonnay, while watching Rom Coms

Dammit, you’ve just described my Friday nights… Rumbled by binners :D

I saw them at Buckley, North Wales, in 1988/9 (their first tour) with Chuck singing. I realised at the time I was witnessing something amazing… Met Billy Goild after and he was a nice chap. I’m not a great fan of the later stuff tbh.

Ah yes, the Tivoli in Buckley. Was there in March watching Magnum (brilliant), looking forward to this new album. Always liked FNM.

I like those, whatis the paint job on the frame like. Past experiences with a cheap(ish) frame (ragley mmmbop) had very thin, easily chipable paint.

    Lovely location. :D
