I can imagine how bad this will be. The better half seems oblivious to this, however.

I just bought a BFe. Looked at a Stanton but the guys there suggested i go a size up (normally a medium). After re-checking all the numbers I went fir the Cotic. No regrets there, but i also looked at Pipedream as they do long travel steel hardtails in 26″.

Take it back and ask very nicely if they would check the bike over. Explain what happened and just ask if they wouldn’t mind touching the paint up. I wouldn’t go in guns a blazin’.. :-)

Andy, that is really crap. Hope you get them back soon. Drop Cheshire Police a call too, they have had great success busting some bike thieves recently and they may well pop up in their area.

Why are you selling? If you are after another bike offer a px deal in the advert, or accept that its probably worth keeping and running until stuff breaks. 26′ is not dead, but you are selling a mass produced non boutique bike to a small audience. Also look on ebay, see how much they are going for there and offer a buy it now price. Good luck selling.

Just bought one of these as i am trying to get away from riding with a pack. Holds loads of gear and has bungee straps to carry a waterproof/extra layer.

My LBS is really good, in fact I am lucky to have several in the area. In one a few months ago, a young 14yr old lad came in with a BSO and asked about forks. The guys in the shop explained about the merits of forks and added that they would not improve said BSO, but to buy better tyres insted. Young lad went off very happy and had saved £££.

if you are on about BMW, you need to inform your insurance company if you replace the run flats with “Normal” tyres. This is to do with changing the car’s spec.
