Nova GTE. Mental car, rusted and came with a Jeremy Kyle image but by god it cornered and went like stink.
Then the valve stem oil seals went, gearbox and some scrote nicked it and left it burnt out on the Wirral.
    Made me grin….

The world has lost a very funny author, very very sad. I loved his portrayal of the City Watch. I often see folk I can compare to Nobby Nobbs

Yup. I lease a toyota Aygo.£500 deposit, then £150 per month. New car,5 year warranty. Cheap as chips to run and zero road fund licence. Does me, can get the mtb in the back and will probably change in 2.5 years time. Dealer said probably get 0% next time too (no % this time as it is a new model)

I am running some Magura MT2’s which I got from Rutland Cycles. They were very cheap and have been faultless. Just replaced the pads which lasted all winter too.

    The Wirral Way.

Very nice route for kids, takes in loads of places to visit. If you park up in Willaston and head out to parkgate for an ice cream. Brilliant, and not too far for you to travel.

Thule are good. You do get a small increase in fuel consumption, but I have never really noticed.

On a recent bbc programme (Fake Britain) I think, FSA were involved in some dodgy copies. An mtb’er had some handlebars fail. Cheapo copies from China.
If it was my cash, I would buy from a reputable shop.

My Father in law has a w reg Honda Civic Sport1.5. He has had it since new and does nothing to it, other than have it MOT’d and the odd oil change. It looks like a bag of spanners but it just runs and runs.
amazing how it keeps going, but he won’t change it until it dies (which will probably outlast him!)

As Llandegla is now owned by the Church of England expect the next survey to look at how many mtb’ers have spent the morning on their knees praying for divine retribution.

    Dog poo.
In our previous house the folk we bought from couldn’t be arsed to clean up about 2weeks of dog eggs from the back.
We knew where they had moved to, so we bagged up thelot and dropped it off with a polite note saying they had left “this”behind. 🙂

As a member (pfffnarrr) of the emergency services I can say yes you will get a visit from the police. You will then spend the rst of your days as a shower plaything for Mr. Big in Wormwood Scrubs.
We have far better things to do than speak to drivers about road manners. Donuts don’t dunk themselves y’know.

My folks used to live in Southport. Whenever i used to visit I used to buy the Blue Tide Timetables as my old man was a Shrimper and Cockler. He could braid his own nets too.

I still study the tides but i am cr*p at everything else.. 🙁

Yup, Lynskey once owned Litespeed. I have had 2 Litespeed Pisgah frames, never cracked and brilliant bikes.
Same as any other brand, some fail, some don’t. It’s not the frame failing that is a problem for many, it’s the customer service once an issue has occured. Lynskey’ sounds like theirs is terrible.

not quite the same shape as you’re describing but something like the telescopic plastic parts boxes (the sort of thing drill bits and router bits are sometimes supplied in) might do the job. I’d imagine the people who supply them will have various other small containers too.

I have one of those in the garage, could fit tea bags in. I think a hope headset came in it.
