Only MTB for me. Au Naturel and Trail centres. here in North Wales we are very spoilt for choice, but I can head out the door and be in the Clwydian range in 15 minutes rather than drive that time for Llandegla.

I’m just amazed we got this far without mentioning Lazytown…

I don’t think Sportacus is under age.

I had a Kinesis Decade Virsa until a few months back. It was ran as a singlespeed, alfine and finally a 1x 10. Brilliant bike and still available in the UK. Not sure if it would be suitable for you, but may be worth looking at. Cheap too.

I love my Hardtail (BFe), in fact my full suss sits gathering dust in the garage. I wouldn’t ride anything else, (pfnarr!) and can keep up with any full suss on the trails.
They are differnet rides, as has been said before. You have to read the trail ahead more often and pick your lines, but it takes time to adjust.
    Keep at it!!

Good news. A local garage has donated vehicles whilst the vandalised ones are repaired.

Nothing surprises me any more. where I used to work a breeze block was thrown through the window of a rapid response paramedic vehicle (Skod octavia estate) The culprits were caught, and when asked why they did it “Because they thought it was a police car”!!!

Our Bro in Law has an appartment in Morillion, we stayed a few years ago. There are some really good trails in the area. If you get the lift up to Morillion there are some nice runs down from the top.
Lac Blu is worth a visit for an hour or 2 to chill out/eat Ice Cream. 😀

I just don’t get that people won’t/can’t be bothered to look after their stuff. My bike & car cost me a lot of my hard earned cash, so why not keep them clean and look after them. They still get used, but I was always brought up to look after my stuff as a kid….same nowadays.
    Am I weird?

I had really bad sciatica last year after an off on the bike, this caused a disc bulge in my lower back. Standing was fine but sat down for any length of time was painful. I ended up going to a physio (did about 6 sessions) and I also did pilates.
The pilates was brilliant and really helped, i bought a dvd entitled “pilates for lower back pain” hosted by an Aussie chap. The same dvd is free on you tube.
Hope its sorted, I really wouldn’t want that pain again.

Sorry buddy. If you give the visitors centre a ring at the Llyn Brenig lake
    http://www.bikingconwy.ws/things-to-do/llyn-brenig-reservoir-and-visitor-centre-p284611

They may have some route maps available. I have been there but it was a few years ago, and I believe that there are some excellent MTB trails there. You could try posting a question on the NWMBA Facebook page. The admin chap, Adrian knows his routes/stuff and may have some more info.
    Hope this helps.

[quoteEuro + several. Nobody mentioned repairing the headset. Adjusting it as well as possible takes a couple of minutes at most and I f it’s borked you just tell the customer that it’s borked. They can like it or lump it[/quote]

This. Why not just adjust it and offer some advice? (Free advice, that is)
