To echo Drac and Cougar here, FFS I can not believe some of the attitudes on here. As a Cop I have been to my fair share of RTC’s. I have also had to deal with the aftermath. If your loved one was killed or had lifechanging injuries as a result of an accident would you not want to know how/why? We try to minimise the disruption as best as possible, but an investigation will be needed, evidence will need to be gathered.
Think on, next time you are held up or you have had to be diverted and you are slightly put out. Your day probably isn’t as bad as some other poor sods.

Just re read my post- the breeder was a registered breeder and we visited their home address, so we were also able to see the living conditions. 🙂

We got our Border Terrier from Preloved. She was used as a breeding bitch and had served her purpose. That was 8 years ago. She is a fantastic dog but we asked for – details of injections and we asked for the vets details so we could get an idea of the dogs health. The seller provided all of this without problem. We also spent a 10 minutes out with the dog on a walk to get an idea of her behaviour on the lead.
Ensure you get a reciept and the sellers details , if the dog is microchipped you will need to get the details changed to yours. This cost £25.00 (for the details to be changed)

Make sure everything is well padded/protected. Wrap tools/loose objects. Get some bubble wrap/pipe inulation for the frame and forks. Cardboard in the disc calipers. I have witnessed the state of some of the bike boxes when they are unloaded by easyjets baggage manglers.

Been with easyjet a few times to Geneva from Liverpool to do the PPDS. Taken the bike in a box and thrown in helmet, tools and hydration pack too. Never been an issue.

I keep thinking that in order to see the doc I will need to enter a room, complete a challenge of some description and obtain a crystal. Then if, and only if I have enough crystals I can exchange them for 5 minutes with a GP. 😕

Apparently they used to have a same day/turn up in the morning surgery from 0830-1000, but this was recently scrapped. Only option is to ring on he day 🙁

As an alternative to a nip of whiskey later evening, I’ve been trying various teas – green and chai – and reckon they’re actually a pretty good substitute.
