A few years ago (late 80’s) i was the owner of a Mk1 Ford Escort. Left the car in a pub in Southport one evening only to come back and find the scrotes had removed the entire dashboard to nick the stereo that was bolted to it. So no lights (switch was gone) and no way to get home. Fortunately the local Bobby that came out took pity on us and gave us a blue light escort home. 🙂

I guess a compromise would be getting a van shaped car where the seats can be dropped\removed. Skoda Yeti?

I will have more than enough to do, and as its the wife’s space she would sooner get a pro in to do the work as opposed to my cack handed approach to diy.
Her company will install phone line etc and there is already power to the shed. Got a nice oil heater too.

I am running Stans Flow 29 er on my CX bike with 35mm tyres. Does a great job.

Andeh, i have an Orange RX9 which I bought on offer direct from orange for £700. They have the XL left in stock.
I love mine, taken it off road too. (used around the lanes of North Wales)
Just swapped the wheels to some nice stans flows as the stock wheels are a big weighty.

Nothing to stop you riding the routes at all. Having the wristband just means you can access the foodstops. We normally rise the PPDS one day, buy a liftpass and follow the decent bits the day after.

There has been some snow but no closures. 🙂
