the hub is approx 3 years old.

That’s a shame buddy. Go for the XT then, with a bit of TLC every 12 months they last for years.

Have you spoken to Hope about the hub. They may be able to offer you the parts cheaper than the XT. Worth a call?

On another note…I was in the RAF from 89-95. Met a local girl, (locals hated the RAF) told her I was a dolphin trainer at Sea World in Blackpool. We went out for about 4 weeks with me continuing the story.
She used to introduce me to her friends as a hunky dolphin trainer too.
She used to ask me what dolphin trainers did. I replied, ” feed fish, clean tank” 🙂

The Kinesis FF29 frames are brilliant trail bikes.
I have a Canyon 29er but that has 100mm of travel so is more XC but it still loves trail centres as well as XC jaunts.
Look at some of the smaller builders such as Charge, Shand and Singular.

Driving home from Cumbria about 10yrs ago on the M6. About 9pm. Lorry about 3 cars in front of me decides to drive across 3 lanes and into a bridge. Carnage and dust, debris everywhere. Managed to steer and avoid most of the chaos.
Stopped to try to help the lorry driver but due to debris and mangled truck couldn’t get near. Motorway was closed for 24hrs. I got home 5 hrs later. 😥
