I did something similar with Facebook.
I am an admin for NWMBA and came across some dumped waste on a bridleway outside of Nercwys. Published the pictures on our FB page with the name and address. Our local Rights of way enforcement officer saw the pictures and the culprit was named and shamed and eventually fined.
They blamed a 3rd party waste removal firm but the responsibility is that of the householder.
Copper Trail, some nice scenic lanes to explore.
If you YouTube Anglesey MTB racing I think it brings up some old quarry trails…
I think this is the one…
Ah, HETAS are expensive…ok I can’t get pics up but from the burner it is twin wall to the loft. Once in the loft imagine a slinky [for those over 40yrs] bent over to the right then up to the chimney.
So I guess they can just replace that section and not the whole flue.
Quoted nearly 2k to fix the flue…if the Burner and Install passed Building regs, why now is it unsafe?
Should we be liable for the costs? If the install was so unsafe should this have been passed by Building regs?
Been used for 8 years by previous owners, the issue is in the loft space. It goes from a twin wall to a single flexi connector, then to the chimney. The flexi connector is bent at 45 degrees, and has gone a blue colour from the heat.
Llandegla was my local Trail Centre. Loved everything about the place.
Trails, Café , workshop and the locals. Ian and Jim are good friends too.
But what I love the most is seeing families out on the trails, groups of kids just out on bikes riding in a traffic free environment. 😀
We live in a 200yr old cottage in Cumbria. So it’s permanently damp 😕
We suffered from condensation upstairs. Got a very good damp expert in who said he could charge me a fortune for various solutions but he simply advised to crack open all the upstairs windows slightly. We did this and for 12 months we have been condensation free.
I was up at Mabie a few weeks ago, a bloody big Deer was just standing in the middle of the red trail (just after the picnic tables). Tried to have words but it just ran off.
Honestly they have no idea. 😉
I hit one in Norfolk (swaffam) many many years ago. I was driving a B reg Fiesta Pop Plus. Made a huge mess, the thing got up and ran off!!
Was only 3rd party insured too. Took me and my dad two weeks and a few tins of filler to repair the car.
Building Surveyors rank the same as used car salesmen and traffic wardens. Money, money, money. We paid for a full survey 2 years ago when we moved. Nothing was picked up , however the house (old grade 2 listed cottage) suffers from damp due to poor ventilation. We didn’t realise this and had damp all over the upstairs walls. Got a damp expert in who gave us the diagnosis and asked why it wasn’t picked up on the survey. He replied that most Surveyors are fairly clueless. 😐
As a local may I recommend the Gallery Cafe [on the corner/centre of town, just up from the FIAT garage]. The filling station is a bit hit and miss. Had some bloody terrible cakes there recently.
The Strawberry cafe is nice, not too pricey. The cafe in George Fishers is also very good.
The Chalet in Portinscale is very very nice.
It is linked to the “act”.
A soldier may be fighting, and be carrying out a legal act, but may stray from the legal line and commit an act out with of their remit. This act would be unlawful.ie a killing.
‘s how I see it anyway
As above, trafffic congestion [ie, average speed cameras, lanes travelling within the similar average speed]
If it was as the OP suggests then an offence[driving w/out due care] occurs.
You would then have the [dis]pleasure of 10 minutes in a fart filled police vehicle. :} :}
While I was on set for the filming of “He Who Dares 2, Downing Street Siege”, in which I am one of the bad guys I had a chat with the director about this.
They get investors to put in say, 10k which is spread over 4 or 5 films. The films are made ‘quickly’, often on single camera, ultra low budget shoots. They basically look at what is doing really well at the cinema & churn out a similar thing. Tend to get picked up by low budget cable channels, the arse end of Netflix, that sort of thing.
Each film probably won’t do mega well but overall there is usuals small return on the investment & who wouldn’t want to be able to say they were involved in financing the film industry whilst stirring a cocktail at a middle class dinner party somewhere, huh?
