I have a Slate 105. Absolutely love it. Still stock apart from the saddle. Great for what I need, (live in Cumbria and the lanes around me are never maintained or covered in mud/cow poo) . Nice on the road and its been around Whinlatter Blue with the stock tyres on. Its a real laugh to ride.
If I was taking it more off road I would put decent tyres on.
I think PostieRich from here has one too.
Mine was a bargain from wheelbase.
Just watch the sizing. I am normally a medium frame but the large frame suited me better (32inch leg, 5’10)
No mudguard on the front but running a muckynutz fender on the back which does a good job of keeping most of the crud off me.

Depends. Oil fired boilers are often larger than their gas fired counterparts. Worcester/Bosch are the reliable brands. Oil is not too expensive, our last 1000 litres was £469.00 and in winter lasts us 4 months. we then top up with 500 and that lasts the rest of the year.
Maintainence plans can be difficult to get hold of unless you go through the manufacturer but we have one with Reactive who are good

what if the op had lost their job after the 14 day cooling off period or even after the car had been delivered? That’s not a reasonable argument.
    .
    Like I said, just a scenario.. 🙄

I don’t think Ling has come out of this very well. Bottom line, people’s circumstances change. What if the OP had lost their job and was unable to buy the car? A £500 bill for a cancelled order?? (Just a scenario, nothing more)
Fair play to the OP for challenging Ling. What a nasty horrible piece of work. Hope karma bites you on the bum.

Make sure the drain holes on the scuttle board below the windscreen are clear of crud. I had a very very expensive fix on my old S60 when they clogged and water got into the engine management system.
I loved mine, the D5 is a great engine.

We did the Italian GP a few years ago and visited Milan, a few tips,
As said pickpockets are rife, as are the local con men. One tried to tie a bracelet around Mrs Feet and demanded 5 euro for the privilege. Be firm and just say Non.
The Cathedral is stunning, but ladies shoulders need covering. Strict Catholic innit.
The city itself we thought was a bit meh. Not as nice as Paris but still worth a visit.
