Some bike shops will continue to thrive simply because of the location (Keswick MTB) is normally busy but in summer is packed with folk hiring bikes/repairs/test rides.
We were in York last weekend and popped into My Bike Shed which is more of a cafe but offers repairs while you wait. It was packed to and the workshop seemed very busy. Again possibly because of location.

For slumming it Sainsbury’s icing topped ones taste good.

Sounds like our local pub. The landlord is retired (former IT) and runs it as a hobby.
Rarely open, he is bloody miserable, frontage needs a good paint, does food but the menu never changes…yet he keeps going.
It could be so much better as there is no other village pub for miles. But he says he doesn’t need to try and is happy with it how it is.

Have a look how much they are going on ebay. But, 9speed, Ultegra, (wheels?) Probably around £350.00.
Not a great time of year to be selling though.

I bought my Solaris Max from Keswick MTB last year. I was toying with either the Solaris or Stanton Sherpa, the fact that my LBS offered me a deal on the Cotic plus a frame swap/ few new parts was the deal breaker for me.
A shame but I guess the business model needs to change. Good luck to Cy and the team.

A Matt finish and nice smell, they just clean the insides of your car really well. Use them on mine and they are great.

Nice set of wheels, light, strong and have taken some lakes abuse for a couple!e of years now.
However they are aimed more towards xc/ trail than enduro.
