I run Hope XC wheels on my Cannondale Slate. Pananracer Gravel King SK fit fine as do Surly Knard.

I bought the tyres from On One who currently have these which could fit the bill

As you go up the whinlatter pass/road , before the main entrance to the car par there are some smaller car parks on the left. They never close.

We inherited a Bosch Induction Job in our house when we moved in. It wouldn’t work with our pans so we had to replace them with ones that it would accept.

I agree Chevychase. You will never please everyone but on a positive the thread has got folk talking about access issues and with everything that has been going on recently surrounding access issues this can only be a good thing.

What is nice to see is so many folk like yourself who are as passionate about these issues as me.

Thanks to everyone who contributed. 😀

The negotiation process has been ongoing for years, and it continues to be. If you look at my second post it shows just how many organisations were and are involved in keeping access for the MTB community.

NWMBA are just one group that represents us. If it wasn’t for groups such as this, and MTB Wales we would not be allowed up full stop. The hours and effort people put in can be ruined by an idiotic minority.

So far the process has been a success, and we have been praised by various access groups that represent all users of the National Park. In order to continue the work we have to show we are responsible and flexible. We have ,until recently, been seen as the new upstarts who want access to already crowded places.

We are being heard and we are making progress, but incidents like this take us 2 steps backwards.

Inconsiderate mountain bikers putting Snowdon access at risk

I can’t spell this out any clearer. Don’t frikken ride during the voluntary ban.

What you are supporting is the idea that it’s ok to ban mountain bikes wherever it’s busy or there’s been an accident involving one. That precedent has repercussions way beyond one hill in Wales and isn’t a decision you are entitled to make on behalf of cyclists across the country.

The ban is already in place. The post is a reminder to those that are not adhering to it. It isn’t a question of whether or not you disagree with me.

Your post is incorrect. As a member of an organisation that provides a voice to the sport I do speak on behalf of the MTB community. People like me give up their free time to attend meetings and canvas our sport on behalf of riders.

If you don’t already, try attending the access meetings that have been advertised recently surrounding open access.

Riders flouting the ban are harming everything we have achieved over the last 10+years in keeping MTB access on the mountain.

At a time when access to the countryside is being looked at these agreements are a great example of access users working together on a common goal. Simply put it our sport can not be responsible why would National Parks allow us further access or changes to access laws.

The ban is in place. Adhere to it or lose access.

I see the keyboard warriors are out in force this morning.

Rider and Pedestrian safety was a topic of discussion during the meetings. Along with other reasons the ban is in place. Including respecting other users.🙄
