Update, saw the car today but it was too scruffy. It didnt show it’s mileage very wellso a bit disapointed. Got a good deal on a nearly new V40 D2 instead. They even threw in a dog guard!!

Seems a bit more classy inside compared to the civic which feels a bit more plastic/rougher around the edges. So happy days.

Cheers. It’s got a full Volvo history and will get a full service before I buy. 12 month warranty.

Never bought a car with a high(ish) mileage but I can’t find much on line about faults other than sensor failure

    Even on the Volvo forums

It’s less the fittings and more finding a Vito for <£2.5 that isn’t spares or repairs or has a quarter of a million miles on it and/or doesn’t look like it’s been repeatedly driven in to a skip!

    One word…..rust!!!

Llandegla is a great Trail Centre. A full afternoon can be spent in the area.

Marin I love. Old school XC, some really nice single track and lots of fire road climbs.

Penmachno, not everyone’s cup of tea but some nice single track.

As Jekkyl says look on the flat tyres routes

Lots of easy to follow routes.

For me a day exploring the Clwydian mountains and a trip in the afternoon to Llandegla.

Day 2 follow one of the above route guides

Ok, mine arrived this morning. I ordered the XC helmets.

Compared to the Giro Hex ( medium) the size was great and spot on for me. The retention system is ok a d similar to the Giro retention system.

Quality – no better or worse than the Giro. Moulding is good and no rough edges.

    Happy with the product.

Police the clerk laboriously filled in a form in a big ledger, took a ruler and tore off a part as my receipt and I realised that that was never going to be matched up with any report of a bike being stolen. That was how I started road cycling.

Up Llanberis probably 3 hrs up (mostly pushing)

    Down about 45 minutes.

We ride it every year, usually early spring before the voluntary ban. It’s a bit marmite, some folk like it, some don’t. The Rangers path is quite good and for me about 95% rideable. The turn off for the telegraph path back to Llanberis can be easily missed.

    Enjoy.
