I have the exotic ones on my Genesis and they are great. I don't lose any sleep over them breaking as they have given me no reason to think that way. I have ridden many a black run on them and have even got some serious air time (well maybe a tiny bit off the floor, but it felt huge in my mind  )

I was there yesteday with a mate and one of his riding buddies. Was pee wet through at the end and my ickle armies took a right pounding due to being fully rigid  I need some suspension on my ss.

I would switch it off, but unfortunately I am already away whilst the gas is being turned off i.e. I forgot to switch the boiler off.

Carradice are where you need to be looking. I use this one http://www.carradice.co.uk/sqr-saddlepacks/sqr-tour.shtml and it's great. I get my paclite, change of undies, lunchbox, dirty work clothes, tools, pump in it no probs it's waterproof has reflective bits and a handy place to clip my rear light onto. They are pricey though.

 Next time they do it, when they have finished shout "aww come on i'n not there yet". I bet it goes quiet :D It worked for me when my neighbour in the singley block (RAF accomodation) was at it. He looked rather embarassed the next time I saw him

Remember its size must also be way too big for your room ;) I have our lcd on a nice glass stand and it's the perfect height. One of my mates has a stupidly sized plasma on the wall and it a)looks crap and tacky b)hurts your neck watching it. Don't do it get a nice stand.

 Nowt as queer as folk is there?! They are v odd characters to be honest. My Mrs said they knocked on the wall when our little 'un (3 months old now) was crying as he had a cold and has started teething. Bearing in mind they have 3 kids  Ah well one of those things I guess. I am deffo getting a detached house next rung up on the property ladder.

I last rode form Osmotherly in Jan and it was 'kin claggy up in them there hills. I ended up having a bath in the resevoir at the end  I got some proper odd looks as it was baltic!

I likes Mary bars they are proper comfy. I have them on my rigid ss and they suit it perfectly. I can see why folk don't get it just like some folk don't get ss. Hey would be a dull world if we all believed we needed full suss, knights armour, and short stems

On One Pompino get a 135mm if you fancy gears. I run a fixie one and commute 15miles each way. I use a carradice saddlebag for carrying all my rhubarb and sks full guards.

I think the quality of the lumi bag is crap for the cash personally. I was not overly impressed with mine to be honest.

I think overshoes are great for commuting (I have the Pro neoprene and they're ace) but I don't think they would last too long mtbing imho.

I run Ubuntu and it takes some effort to get things working. It is a lot better out the box than it used to be. Try a live cd as it is the best way to see if you like how it feels.

Basically it's a Golf GTi mechanically

Different turbo :D vRS =180bhp GTI =150bhp unless Anniversary which is 180bhp they may have gone 180bhpm in the latter mivs too. Anyhoo I chose a vRS (on my 2nd one after foolishly getting rid of my first) over a GTI as I felt the gti was errr how should I put it…. crap

MK1 Skoda Octavia vRS. Better equipped (better built too imho and that of a VW mechanic that fitted cruise on mine)than a Golf out of the box v comfy on long trips, the boot is 'kin mahoosive and bloody hell they shift.

I like him. A lot. But unlike you lot, I'm under 30.

I am 32 and when I was under 30 I couldn't stand the fat tool  He just isn't funny, I mean burping into the mic?? WTF is that about? I was gutted when Russell Brands show got canned, as his podcast used to have me in tears.

What grips my pooh pooh is all the blabbering on about ****tter! Who cares? Each daytime Radio One has pretty much become a clone. the shows are quite dire eg Dev on the early show (boring?) Moyles (talentless goit), Cotton(Dull as dishwater),Cox(is a massive one) I have to admit Scott Mills does make me chuckle a lot. Bring back Mark and Lard biggedy, biggedy bong!!!!!!!
