Diesel jeans are ace. Don't bother with evisu! I bought one pair after believing the hype. Pffft no better than other brands imho.

I am watching this topic as I am after a smaller frame for my Mrs. She currently has a GF Wahoo in small which she has had for years. She is not massively into mountain biking so I am buggere dif I am gonna spend a fortune. What are the Handsome dog xc03 frames like?? Are there any other cheap alternatives? I fancy building one as a singlespeed for her.

I am gutted :( 6Music and NME are the only dab channels I listen too. Radio 1 is painful during the day, I am only 32 so that rules out any other Beeb channel.

I am on my 2nd Octavia vRS hatch. I foolishly sold my first one (bought it in 2003 before most folk knew about them), had a short love affair with a MK2 MR2 and guess what I missed the Octavia so got another. Absolutely great cars the boot is 'kin huge, it is v reliable, in tdi form they are economical, there is plenty of space inside mine came with all the gizmos as standard (bar cruise cost me £120 to get it fitted)mine is 8 years old and still feels like a new car. If I ever replace it, it will deffo be another Octavia.

I have had a set of them there exotic forks for just under a year and they have taken some right abuse. I am by no means a smooth rider and I have never had a reason to feel unsafe on them.

I have stopped travelling back to the North West on a Friday now as it stresses me out, I take the Friday off and go on the Thursday night instead. The standard of driving has severley taken a nose dive. I passed my test in '96 and have travelled the length and breadth of the country courtesy of being in the forces. I absolutely hate driving distance now as it's like warfare, people are so damn aggressive behind the wheel.

They're flashing you, probably, because you're sat in a lane when you could be over one lane. It doesnt matter what speed they're doing, or what speed you're doing, if you're in a lane when you should be in the one to the left, you're in the wrong

I do obey lane discipline and have had it happen numerous times when overtaking folk (how come more people seem to sit at around 60 in the middle lane these days??).

I rarely exceed 70mph 9there is no point as you don't get anywhere quicker) and I get sick of idiots flashing me or sitting on my bumper, I slow down a bit if they do it. I am sorry but unless you are a police officer you don't tell me what to do ta v much. Yes there are idiots on the road, but everyone will be an idiot in someone elses eye.
Don't even get me started on slip road discipline! Do people joining the motorway not realise it's not their right of way. I almost got wiped out by some halfwit going to fast whilst joining the motorway.

I prefer to gather up frogs then squeeze their breath into my tyres. It gives me much more air time too.

Ubuntu can be booted and ran as a live cd to see if you get on with it. Then you have the choice of installing it (there is a windows installer) So if you wanted to keep windoze you can dual boot. My PC and Laptop are both ubuntuified and they have never ran quicker.
