I have one of those ones that plug into the cd player (helps if your car has one). It’s at the right height for sat nav stuff.

site fees just made it barely worth it.

This really grips my poop. How some folk charge £££ for a tiny bit of grass with no breathing space around bamboozles me. I have a 6 man tent and it worked out roughly the same price to stop in a static caravan?? I stayed in the caravan!!

Why not a laptop? Get a refurbed Lenovo Thinkpad from eBay. 16GB RAM and an SSD then wooooooosh. If you need to use a bigger monitor then just plug one in.
I don’t see the need for big desktops at home these days.

I’m not a pushy parent by any means (I know he’s 7, but sometimes it’s the basic stuff he isn’t getting). I do care about my kids doing well, so I will try different things to help them. Some great ideas have come from this thread, so thank you :)

Whatever never buy Deichmann. They lasted a few days before the sole started coming away from the upper.

As much as I love my Chromebook, both me and my sister found them a pain for academic work. A proper laptop with office will be better, I found the way google docs formats stuff to .doc(x) doesn’t show true in Word.

I am hopeless with this. I’m trying to sell a bike (this isn’t a rogue ad) and I struggled to find prices of similar ones. I think now it may be a smidge too high!! If you haven’t had any joy after a few weeks it’s probably too expensive.

You bottle it up over 5 years just getting on with it, then you have a breakdown, then you do a dance with GPs, eventually get the right help and medicated, then you start to see things differently i.e. some things are beyond your control whilst you try to rebuild your life.

It’s not a healthy way to live!!!!! Life is too short for that crap:)

A self inflating mat is way better than a blooming cold airbed. We have a double self inflating mat and it’s great.

I personally think Boardman are great bikes for the cash. I changed the groupset on mine as I had the kit lying about and the same for the wheels. It was perfectly capable from the shop and rode brilliantly. The only thing that bugs me on the new Boardman bikes is the graphics, but that’s my own personal opinion. I wonder if they will make a fat bike??

I’m curious about this as a chilled out form of exercise. My knee means my endurance racing days are behind me, as are long rides in the saddle and having a few lakes and rivers nearby this interests me. I found a local shop that does taster sessions, so I am gonig to give it a blast.

How the **** is this a defence? “the lorry driver had been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea in late 2015 and he experienced a micro-sleep just before the crash, ”

If he knew he had a tendency to go bo bos whilst at the wheel, then surely he shouldn’t be driving at all?!

That was probably me. I have 2 pairs(2 for 1) and I am sold on them. Came in a few days and are comfy and the optics are better than my Oakley’s IMHO. Sold my Batwolfs and I would sell my my a wires as I don’t wear then anymore, but I wouldn’t get much for them.

WTF? I wear crocs about the house and to water the plants etc. There is no way I would venture further afield in them. Them things up there ^ are some glorified nike air Jesus BS. Who the hell wears them out and about with normal attire?

Me and the kids have bimbled to places we would never have normally gone to. It’s all good IMHO. The amount of folk out walking because of it is ace.
