RIP Ray and massive sympathy to your family and friends.

There are so many animals out there who just don’t care about their actions. Why waste a life like that?

If your wrists bother you, try turning the levers in so your hands lie in a more natural position.

The Rival £999 build has pooh wheels but for £30 extra I can get the model bs (I likes them) was looking at the force build but it has an apex chainset 🙁 but another £50 gets the FSA team carbon. Aghhhhhh which one?!?!

At the end if the day are “you” happy riding it? I love my giant defy 3, my hookooekoo and my io the’yre not bling nor “niche” nor “overpriced” but I love riding them. If people want to spend oodles of cash on a bike well thats fine by me, I personally dont see the point. I do however wish some of them got some fitness to justify those expensive bikes at times, as its a crying shame when expensive carbon is bimbled about on.

cyclists, horses and pedestrians have the right
    to use the queens highway.
motorists are merely licensed and must pay for
    that privilege (not ‘a right’)

I drove back today listening to The Beatles blue and red albums.
It was weird as at every poignant song that meant something the sun came out 🙂
Listening to those 2 albums it was like it was a message to me and you know what I feel happier as I know he’s watching over me.
Even weirder was yesterday my son pestered his mum for toys.
He has 3xbig toy boxes with a book box on top of them. He pestered for the bottom one and the toy he rummaged out was a talking Bob the builder toy my Dad gave to him before he took really ill!!! He hasn’t played with it in months I was shocked when my Wife told me that when I got back.

I’m glad I’ve helped other people who are going/have been through the same thing.
Writing this is kinda like therapy, it’s lime having a faceless councillor so to speak.
We have had to advertise his car as my mum has one already and she can’t afford to keep it.
It’s just crazy doing this stuff.
I’ve got to drive home to pick up my wife and kids tomorrow. I think I will put on the beatles as they were his
Favourite band and think about the good times.

I think today was a quite a “tester” as all the practical stuff i.e. informing everyone etc, had to get the hospital bed taken away from the house as that was something we couldn’t be staring at.
We’ve just sat around chatting about stuff; it was all very emotional but it was good at the same time.
I don’t think I will ever truly get over this but I know I will eventually move on.
My Dad wanted me to go on and better myself and always encouraged me and you know what. I am not going to let him down!

    Thanks guys.
I finally got some sleep (at the end of the how’s making myself I’ll going to help?)
It just feels “real” now. I am stopping at my folks house as I shot back on my own and to know I am never going
to get to see him here again makes me feel sick in my stomach.
I know he wouldn’t want me to mope around but it’s going to be hard not to as he meant that much to me.
I have so many good memories to hold onto and I always said I loved him so he went surrounded by love.
RIP Dad you are going to be missed so much.

Defy owner here and I love mine its v comfy.
The standard wheels are pooh and that is all I can truly criticise it for.
I commute 32 miles a day and go out for 50+ milers on it.
The saddle I find comfy the handlebars I did not but that’s due to
    My girly hands lol.
I wouldn’t mind a plastic giant for a summer bike as I am that impressed
    With the defy.

More publishers need to embrace the tech!!!!!

My dad had 2 courses of chemo for his lung cancer and was really good on it. He only lost a bit of his hair (what he had anyway).
The unfortunate bit for him is there was no cure for his cancer 🙁 he is now in a hospice, the deterioration is crazy less than 12 months ago he was helping flag my patio!!!
Sorry to go off on a depressing ramble.
Hope everything goes ok or her 🙂

Stress is something no-one can comment on unless it has affected them IMHO.
I seriously hope anyone who is negative towards it never has the misfortune of it happening to them.
Its frigging horrible, how do I know? Its currently got me! Mine isnt work related though, I have had a sheer amount of personal tragedy hit me in a matter of a week. Its knocked me for 6. I have gone
from captain happy go lucky to an anxious mess. Hopefully time and family support will get me through it.
Dont be afraid to admit your broken, I left it too late and regret it now.

Lol at me being stuck in the stone age.
Heaven forbid “us” actually raising our kid, as opposed to paying someone to do it for most of the day.
Structured learning, is marketing speak to make you feel better IMHO.
So let me get this right the fact my lad knows his friends names and vice versa, the fact they hug each other when they meet, the fact they love playing at our house as its like a play room, plus they go out on regular trips together to farms the park etc in the day is wrong???? Hmmmm best I sign him up now!!!!

How about the chuggington film or bob the builder?

And as for aracer we dont rely on paying a nursery to let someome else do the interacting for us. My wife takes our nipper to mother and baby groups where he has friends.
Call me old fashioned but having a member of family staying at home looking after the children, is better for them than a stranger in the early years.

Anywho, some tv is ok I dont get why there is an issue.

    monkeychild

I love the fact people will dump their kids in a nursery, yet scoff at others letting their kids watch a bit of tv 😆
I have an 18month old and 3 week old, mum stays at home with them and will do until school time. Shock, horror we let the eldest watch some tv!!!! He likes CBeebies, he also plays with toys, listens to music and is very loving (gives awesome hugs)
All these no to tv lot are not to disimilar to this pair.
