I think all speed cameras should be completely camouflaged.

With you on that one :) Need more of them in 30 zones IMHO.

USB 3 flash drives are ridiculously cheap now. I have a 128GB one hosting VMs that cost me £20. It works an absolute treat wit VMWare workstation.

a lot of kids are awesome

I totally agree with you. The kids who looked a bit rough and ready at the local park and BMX track were really nice and respectful and didn’t swear around my kids. I had a great chat with them and they encouraged my lad and let him have a go on their rocker bmx. Absolute stars!!

The kids of a similar age who live on my estate (middle classville) are little shits who are cheeky and rude.

I was sat in McDs (don’t throw poo) after me and my eldest (7) had been playing on the pump track for ages this morning. Lad around the same age as him sat by us with friends and had an iPhone 5!! He was saying that he got his first iPhone at 5 and was getting an iPhone 7 8O He was also talking about his YouTube channel and playing with his computer. I was like WTF?!?! I’m glad my lads enjoy riding bikes, playing etc as I couldn’t cope with a bedroom dwelling nerdlet and I like computers!!

    don’t buy a 24″ cruiser.

This! Good for cruising, but not as much fun as 20″ wheels.

You can’t go wrong with wethepeople (I ride a Volta) their completes are spot on. I would make sure you get a Cro-mo frame though, I don’t know what the frame is in the classifieds is made of.

BMX is ace, I scared myself on a half pipe today  Proper got teh fear. The kids at the pump tracks round here are pretty cool.#

We have 4 bedrooms and our boys (5&7) “had” separate rooms. They really wanted to share a room!! It’s worked out great for them as they get on well and they have a play room now (not that it stops them having toys everywhere  )

It’s kids!! My Mrs wanted the ground to swallow her when my eldest came over and proclaimed “that brown boy had hit him”

He’s 7, unless he’s wanting a Britain First membership and Mein Kampf for Xmas I wouldn’t worry. Kids just repeat things and at times say daft things to get a reaction. Christ I remember some of the horrible shit we used to say in upper juniors. E.g. girls give you aids 8O WTF?!?

Smaller wheels than you think! Probably 16″ also how much do you want to spend? Is it for pootling or is he into it?

These seem ok for the cash Mafia As I looked at one for my lad.

The 18″ Hitmain looks good too.

    Haro

    Diamond Back

    HTH

(edit) I have seen quite a few of the Diamondbacks on ebay

It’s impressive the dedication they put into it, but boy a lot of people who do this stuff are narcissistic. I’ve worked with folk who do it and they think all women adore them and everyone should be in awe  Their fear of running was pure hilarity. Also some of the crap they took 8O Listening to the weird potions and bizarre things they did made it sound like a witches brew.

I’ve just read about the Iranian cyclist :( That’s terrible news RIP. The paralympics is amazing as it shows what we can do as humans (makes me feel soft about my own injury).

Don’t say it 3 times!! I grew up in St Helens. It was the strangest proto-social media phenomenon when there was this wave of hysteria and surprise across the internet about 10 years ago of “**** hell! Purple Aki is real!”

I grew up in Ashton-in-Makerifeld and during the early 90s Aki “was the threat”

You like problem solving and have the aptitude for code etc. Why not look at IT security. It’s an undersubscribed growth area and and there are usually heaps of junior analyst jobs.

I was looking at this the other day. I want to scratch the fat itch as my fast days are gone courtesy of my knee is. So I am after a bike I can pootle with the family, take to a trail centre or just bimble around the churned up bridleways. This may fit the bill and I can get it for just under £600 maybe even less with quidco

I’ve got the “OG” Pebble. Then new stuff looks good too New Pebble

I wear my Pebble everyday and I get 5 days out of the battery. I like the vibrating alarm on it.

I have the 1.4tsi engine in my Superb. It’s no rocket car, but it moves and returns great MPG.

What about a Pebble? No touch screen, but I like mine a lot. Battery lasts for ages too. I looked at the Android watches, but Pebble ticked more boxes.

I have the one somafunk has too. I haven’t bothered wiring the rear one in and it’s still powered off my 12v socket. For the money I am happy. The amount of idiots doing ridiculous overtakes on my commute (how dare I stick to the speed limit) and the crash for cash incidents that happen on a roundabout near my work it’s worth it IMHO.
